@jhicks140506 if you are talking about the widget bar, no. It is a controller-widget pack called "Widgetsoid 2.x", and contains some of the largest number of controlling widgets I've seen, and its all free.

Greetings, to get into ClockworkMod Recovery (assuming you flashed it!). Go into the bootloader mode (volume up + powerbutton, I demonstrate in the video), and choose the middle icon, that looks like an Android with an open box. select it with the power button. That should take you into a "CWM-based Recovery" by DJ Steve. if you are not showing that, you still have the Toshiba Stock Recovery (it will have fewer options)

can  you shed some light on this I dotn see clockwork in this mod, is it not included in the files, or is it in the rom manager, I succefully installed the root on My Toshiba Thrive, but noticed the clockwork mod wasnt included so it must be run seperatly from the rom manager.

There is no way to officially downgrade the 3.2 official update, but you CAN root the latest 3.2 update. Visit Thriveforums, the devs there HAVE found an exploit to put fastboot back on, and to root your Thrive.

my toshiva thive comes with a preinstalled 3.2 (not updated, from factory), is posible to get a downgrade from 3.2 to 3.1 for rooting & flasing the device ???

@jesus0zero0 Hello, there is a method @ Thriveforums and Tabletroms in order to hack the latest update. Your update does not have the "fastboot" available. The hack puts fastboot back on it, then you can root and flash ROMs to your hearts desire.

this method works on all "thrives" ?  I've noticed some people's model's show AT100, and some are AT105 (i think it is, but whatever it's higher than 100).

If you have been updated to the latest version using the Service Update, YOU CANNOT ROOT. If your Android Version is 3.2.1 and you've updated using Toshiba's update service, you cannot roll back. I am sorry, but Toshiba's updates canceled out our Fastboot access which allowed us root in the first place.

for those who might still have issues. if you have updated to latest firmware, you no longer have fastboot access. There is a rollback to an earlier version if you wish to keep your root, but you are dependant on the developer community for updates.

For all of those that have the waiting for device to fully boot problems. I also experienced it, and was able to fix it. For some reason the AT100 driver had some conflict and the device wasnt being recognized by windows after booting. After the thrive is booted, go into your device manager and update the driver for at100. the flash tool should then finish it's job. Thanks for the video!

Ok..same issue as uae0nexus as I select 032 and it stops at "waiting for device. However I have 3 options to select from 029, 032 and 032 OOM Optimized. Which do I select if the ending is only 032? I ran ADB in the tools folder and it quickly executes and disappears. After I selected debug usb, I am getting a MTP new hardware found. And there are no drivers for it to install device. Running XP

everything worked for me EXCEPT clockwork mod recovery, when I run the installer it goes through the whole process, says congratulations you now have CM but it is not on the device, I verified root access in terminal but still no CM

If you use a version other than the ones here, the modified boot image that flashes will break your wifi, it wont work. However, another way would be toflash the Clockworkmod Recovery using this tool, then to download and flash a Rom directly in the recovery.

adb workes and i can see the devices but after i chose the 0032 it just stops at waiting for device

@uae0nexus when you reboot into the fastboot bootloader, you will see the "add new hardware" dialog box if you haven't done it before. You have to wait for the drivers to copy and install "fastboot drivers" before you can continue. I had to do it all over again when I plugged my thrive into a new USB port, and it had to install the drivers coming from that port.

@hengineer If you are unsure what drivers to use for Fastboot, its the exact same Drivers you used to install the ADB Drivers.

Forgot to continue my train of thought at the end of the video. You can reboot to Recovery by the same method used to enter fastboot, only choose the middle "Package" icon instead of the "USB" icon.
