Gotta love these fake conservatives who preach constantly against big government here while upholding this benevolent view of big government abroad .. How can you logically be against the welfare state domestically while supporting government handouts for other nations?
I really don't like all this Christian talk. Religion and politics should be forever separated by a high wall with lots of barbed-wire all over it. As a libertarian I support a woman's right to chose and that was always a GOP strong point until the "moral majority" went and screwed up the GOP.If you want to get biblical, god repeatedly told the Israelites to slash open pregnant women and kill their babies, so there is no biblical argument to ban abortion.
@christo930 I am an athiest, but I am quite interested in philosophy. Believe it or not, making abortion illegal is quite defensible. I don't think it's defensible in all cases, and it should be about #19 on one's priority list anyway.
I'm perfectly fine with pro-life people. What I am not fine is the irrationally of why people are pro-life (i.e. the Christians) and how they make this their #1 priority, despite all the other worse anti-'right to life' institution/policies we have.
The part where he said we need to fix the moral character of the people first before we deal with the fed was just crazy. "Yeah, let's delay getting rid of the fed, even though it's totally ripping every single American off in the country, minus a few, and let's try and make people more moral instead!" This is a fucking joke. I'm sorry for swearing, but this is disgusting.
The Fed is one of the worst anti-life institutions we have RIGHT NOW and they don't see it as a priority?
I listened to a bit of this Steve Deace guy - the show that came after you made this video to him. I listened to part 3 where he was talking about his objections and "the issues".
Honestly, I was about to throw up. The amount of contradictions in their thinking and the problems with their overall logic was just astounding. I am not going to make a blanket statement against all Christians, but he seemed way too irrational for me like a lot of Christians do. Sigh.
@egervari That is because most evangelicals are crazy, they believe in a 6k year old earth, a literal Adam and Eve, a literal Noah's flood and all kinds of nonsense. To make things worse,in a large scale study of knowledge of religion in the US, evangelical Christians scored at the bottom and atheists scored at the top(with Mormons coming in second). GWB was an evangelical, do we really want another GWB?
ONLY Paul tells it like it is. TRILLION is a thousand BILLION DOLLARS & USA debt is over 44 trillion (44,000 billion dollars) This upside down spending 1910 thru 1929 caused the CRASH manipulated by European bankers, caused GREAT DEPRESSION GLOBALLY & ww2 was the created planned WAR FOR PROFIT response. The earth & USA is being setup AGAIN. ONLY PAUL is warning us. ONLY PAUL would fight the bleeding to death of the USA. are YOU doing all you can? SUPPORT HIM & vote
It would be a great thing if this worked but if it doesn't we will know where Steve Deace stands and commence throwing tomatoes at him for being d-bag.
Thank you, Tom for posting this! It is certainly a solid and steady growth of support for Ron Paul...just as solid and steady as his principles. It is funny how the message he brings sometimes makes it unnecessary to garnish the support of other elected officials. Dr. Paul is beginning to win the hearts and minds of many people...and it's not just in our own country.
Ron Paul is not only the only Christian running for president in 2012, he's the only one who even RESEMBLES a Christian on either side. Blessed are the peacemakers, not the warmakers. Ron Paul 2012.
Hard to believe that only a decade after 9/11 the greatest damage to our country has been done out of fear of another terrorist attack, losing our rights and civil liberties all in the name of protecting us! We are losing the war on terror by allowing our government to continue the endless warmongering that is draining and sucking the economy of our nation and its people dry! Ron Paul has the answers, elect this man and move the country in the right direction!!!
@rollsroyce2000, as usual damage is realized when it is already happened. USA signed its death warrant back when activists quietly sneaked white women into affirmative action program, thus making a "minority" of women, gays and some non-white men an army comprised of 75% of total voters.
There have been cases where smaller countries have given up nuclear arms after forming alliances. This whole Iran thing is ludicrous. Iran is not a threat. The US foreign policy's and those supporting them are the threat both here and abroad.
Mr. Deace has been quite fair in his consideration of Dr. Paul- unlike the mainstream punditry. Tom, you did an excellent job laying out the Christian case for Ron Paul.
Newt Gingrich is worse than a RINO. He's a corrupt neocon, who promotes his globalist, ultra-liberal ideology using conservative rhetoric. Don't be fooled, my friends!
It would be a great thing if this worked but if it doesn't we will know where Steve Deace stands and commence throwing tomatoes at him for being d-bag.
I sent Steve Deace an email to make sure he knew of the existence of this video, and he replied that he just watched it and would discuss it on tonight's show
The government cannot strengthen the moral fabric of society. The government can only erode the moral fabric of society! The less government, the stronger society will be! The purpose of government is not to enforce morality, but to prevent violent crimes and property crimes.
Dr. Woods, what is your opinion of Newt Gingrich's endorsement of the writings of Alvin Toffler in which Toffler states that the US Constution must die, that it is an encumberance to the rise of a new civilization? Were you at Harvard when Fmr. Vice Chairman of the CFR and then Sec. of State under Pres. Clinton, Warren Christopher, gave his speech on foreign policy and described Gingrich as an "Internationalist" ?
Newt Gingrich is a New World Order insider! He is not only a puppet but a perpetrator of the illuminati agenda! He is by no means an American patriot. He is not even an American citizen! He is only a citizen of the illuminati!
Remember that Steve Deace took to youtube to argue that Ron Paul is "indifferent" to moral issues because he believes in something called federalism and division of power between the federal and state governments. Deace basically is a theocratic statist who wants to federalize every social issue and impose his fundamentalist values, by fiat, on the entire country. I don't know if someone of that mindset can be swayed. But keep up the great work Tom and please run for office someday.
Mainly because of his views on foreign policy, you can flip-flop on social issues all you want in the GOP but say you want to cut one penny from the military and you're dead in the water. Also wanting to legalize drugs and prostitution doesn't help.
@rapsody He didn't say he wants to legalize prostitution. What he says is if a State throws someone in prison or not depends on the laws of that State. Nevada has legalized prostitution I believe, and has had for many years. So why else is that an issue except for a knee-jerk reaction. Also, no longer a federal crime to smoke a joint; let each State enforce their own drug laws. This is all about decentralized control vs centralized control, not about what's right or wrong.
I'm not saying I agree with it, I'm just explaining why most rank and file GOP members won't support Ron Paul. They hear states can legalize prostitution and everything else someone says or does is insignificant.
@rapsody States can *already* legalize prostitution. That's like the neighbors getting upset because someone tells them the Smith's baby was born without a penis.
The United States had a decentralized form of government, where control was at a level much closer to the people. This gave the people more influence on the government. With centralized control in the hands of a few, a small group of crazies could run the whole show. Guess who's pushing for that. Ron Paul is against it.
Why are you explaining this to me like I disagree with you? All I'm explaining is the way most GOP members think. They don't want any president who would support states further legalization of prostitution in any capacity. And states cannot just legalize prostitution, there are still many federal restrictions against it at the present time. It's not even legal in all of Nevada, just in certain counties.
ok then... Beer is not legal in All of Texas. It's a State thing, not all States are like that.
I'm glad you understand it's about decentralized control, which affords personal liberty, vs. centralized control, which results in soviet-style totalitarianism.
Just to say the states can legalize prostitution does not in any way *promote* the states legalizing prostitution. It puts responsibility back on the states where it belongs. Tell your friends.
I don't know about that... it's only by discussion that minds get changed.
And people are waking up to knee-jerk sound-bite arguments.
Like Iraq is trying to get nukes so they can blow up America (or Israel, whatever), and their latest version, *Iran* doing the same thing.
Think about this: expending resources on preemptive war (Wars WE start) cuts our defenses. That's cuts on military defense!! War profiteers oppose cuts for war spending.
I appreciate your optimism and I'm sure there are some out there who can be swayed. But from my personal experiences with the GOP base, they don't tend to respond to well-thought out logic like yours. Why do you think most of them love Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh? ;) Keep fighting the good fight though, there aren't a whole lot left who are.
@rapsody I used to listen to Mark Lavin :) Actually, Ron Paul is getting more support all the time. If things look kind of hopeless, one thing you could do when someone says 'he can't win' is to simply say 'yes he can' Sheeple believe what they do because they hear something again and again, and the 'can't win' line was one of the items in the tool bag.
Then, you can tell them it's about decentralized control vs. soviet-style centralized control. Their choice.
Tom, The problem here is that Steve's bosses, who own the MSM in this country (and the media throughout the entire world) do not want Steve to promote Ron Paul because Ron Paul wants to audit Steve's bosses' COMMAND CENTRAL- THE FEDERAL RESERVE.
Steve is merely an obedient slave to his masters who own him. Steve dare not take a baseball bat to the "Machine" Tom, for if he does, he will probably lose his job which has provided him with a comfortable lifestyle. (He may even lose his life)
I listen to Steve Deace on 1040 out of des moines, he says that Ron Paul will let Iran attack us, and says that he can't as a Christian vote for him, but i pull my hair out because even JESUS said "blessed are the peace makers" how is Ron Paul NOT the Christian candidate?
The Clergy Response Team is at it again. And what does this tell you about Steve Deace? Not good Steve. What kind of character would NOT want the decency of a Ron Paul Presidency to grace the suite of the White House on the hill. Someone with unsavory character and who has sold-out to the highest bidder in my opinion.
Does Ron Paul believe that Barack Obama was born in the US? and if so what hospital? How come he thinks Obama's eligibility is a non issue if he is supposedly "represents: the constitution?
@Amyls64 Ron Paul has priorities. Besides, Obama is not the king. Talking heads rail against the "democrats" and Obama as though it were the problem. American citizens are the real problem though. It's because they want the government to steal for them. They believe in government, politians, and "democracy". It's not hard to get them to support wellfare (medicare, medicade, S.S.), warfare (war racketeering X5), and tyranny (Central Bank, Fiat Currency, IRS, FDA, DOE, CIA, EPA, TSA, etc etc) WTF
@Amyls64 "How come he thinks Obama's eligibility is a non issue if he is supposedly "represents: the constitution?"........."Ron Paul Has Priorities????? Thats the answer you have to give me to my question" Yes.......How does that make you feel? :)
@Amyls64 If you can't impeach presidents on the grounds of unconstitutional wars, torture and killing American citizens without trial or indictment, how are you supposed to do it because of birthright? There have been entirely too many unconstitutional things in past 50 years that American people have turned a blind eye to, it's no wonder Obama got away with it...
@Amyls64 Because all birthers are either racist or just stupid. I'm not saying all birthers are racist, and im not saying all birthers are stupid. But at this point if your still beating that dead horse your one of the above.
@njwhetstone Obviously Ron Pauls prriority is not the constitution if thats all you have to say. And obviously you are too lazy to research the issue and think for yourself.
Gingrich is a neocon statist asswipe. In other words, a typical presidential candidate.
If Gingrich gets the nomination, it's the end for the Republican party as a counterweight to the progressive/liberal mechanism that is destroying American sovereignity.
- WARNING DO NOT UPDATE THE LAST YOUTUBE VERSION - because it doesnt have friend invite and do not have channel views - This is a move for not allowing the public to see that your channel has much more views than others and also a move to not allow you have more friends on your list or communicate with people - They are trying to manipulate public opinion with this move to not allow people organize against immoral and warmonger governments with world record of debts..
@1TheBusyBody94 That the government has no part in our lives. Marriage should be left to the churches to define, that way we all have our own ways of doing it. Secondly that all legal contracts where property is shared between two consenting individuals will be recognized by the state just like any other contracts. There wouldn't be any tax incentives for marriage because their wouldn't be any income tax.
@1TheBusyBody94 He says for the federal government to regulate marriage at all is unconstitutional. He also opposes the Federal Marriage Amendment. He thinks, state and local governments are perfectly entitled to legalize gay marriage, but he personally thinks that marriage is a private matter that draws its importance from the spouses' voluntary agreement emanating from their love for each other, and the support of friends and families, churches, organizations, etc, not from government.
@1TheBusyBody94 who gives a fuck? It's a non issue. Typical waste of time to debate such nonsense when the country is bankrupt, the military is being used as an imperialist tool, the federal reserve is blowing up one asset bubble after another, civil liberties are being stampeded on, and the speculative banks and the government are colluding to destroy the American working class, get a fucking clue.
Steve, who can we trust to remain faithful to their campaign platform once elected? Who has kept their hands clean while serving in Washington? Who will keep their oath to defend the Constitution?
There are many candidates, but only one can be trusted to do as they say they'll do and not sell out to the special interests in Washington.
Regarding the Dept. of Education, it's also worth noting that Gingrich voted for the creation of it in 1979, and voted to increase its spending in later years. It's not even necessary to point out which side of these votes Ron Paul was on, because we all already know the answer to that.
Sam Seder has a radio show and said he would debate any libertarian. If you're a glutton for punishment by a belligerent liberal, it might be worth humiliating him.
The Department of Education was a love child of Newt Gingrich. The 84 ethics violations that lead to him getting ousted by his own party. The only way people can vote for Gingrich is to ignore his past. Jesus said you will know them by their fruits.
Thank you SO much, Dr. Tom Woods! Your constant advocacy for, and BRILLIANT defense of, Ron Paul is appreciated more than words can describe!
If God blesses us with the miracle of a Ron Paul presidency, I can think of no one better for the job of Vice President than you! You and he are cut from the same cloth of honesty, decency, brilliance and having the ability to gain my complete trust! (Also, I'd want to see you mangle Joe Biden in a debate - it would be the stuff of legend!)
Oh well your appeal did not work

It's because they want the government to steal for them. They believe in government, politians, and "democracy". It's not hard to get them to support wellfare (medicare, medicade, S.S.), warfare (war racketeering X5), and tyranny (Central Bank, Fiat Currency, IRS, FDA, DOE, CIA, EPA, TSA, etc etc) WTF

@66chevyo Ron Paul Has Priorities????? Thats the answer you have to give me to my question about where does Ron Paul stand on Obama's eligibility?

@Amyls64 "How come he thinks Obama's eligibility is a non issue if he is supposedly "represents: the constitution?"........."Ron Paul Has Priorities????? Thats the answer you have to give me to my question" Yes.......How does that make you feel? :)
66chevyo 2 months ago
@Amyls64 If you can't impeach presidents on the grounds of unconstitutional wars, torture and killing American citizens without trial or indictment, how are you supposed to do it because of birthright? There have been entirely too many unconstitutional things in past 50 years that American people have turned a blind eye to, it's no wonder Obama got away with it...

@rightsman123 I know we have a real problems .. Where are the courts the judges etc? I just do not get it.

@Amyls64 Because all birthers are either racist or just stupid. I'm not saying all birthers are racist, and im not saying all birthers are stupid. But at this point if your still beating that dead horse your one of the above.
njwhetstone 2 months ago
@njwhetstone Obviously Ron Pauls prriority is not the constitution if thats all you have to say. And obviously you are too lazy to research the issue and think for yourself.

Gingrich is a neocon statist asswipe. In other words, a typical presidential candidate.
If Gingrich gets the nomination, it's the end for the Republican party as a counterweight to the progressive/liberal mechanism that is destroying American sovereignity.

what is Paul's stance on gay marriage?
1TheBusyBody94 2 months ago
@1TheBusyBody94 He wants to get the government out of all marriage. Why do you need a license to get married?
1776Rosco 2 months ago
@1TheBusyBody94 That the government has no part in our lives. Marriage should be left to the churches to define, that way we all have our own ways of doing it. Secondly that all legal contracts where property is shared between two consenting individuals will be recognized by the state just like any other contracts. There wouldn't be any tax incentives for marriage because their wouldn't be any income tax.
jazun33 2 months ago
@1TheBusyBody94 He says for the federal government to regulate marriage at all is unconstitutional. He also opposes the Federal Marriage Amendment. He thinks, state and local governments are perfectly entitled to legalize gay marriage, but he personally thinks that marriage is a private matter that draws its importance from the spouses' voluntary agreement emanating from their love for each other, and the support of friends and families, churches, organizations, etc, not from government.
SkullOfYorick 2 months ago
@1TheBusyBody94 He believes marriage should be left out of government and left up to the Church.
TrippingTheTube 2 months ago 3
@1TheBusyBody94 who gives a fuck? It's a non issue. Typical waste of time to debate such nonsense when the country is bankrupt, the military is being used as an imperialist tool, the federal reserve is blowing up one asset bubble after another, civil liberties are being stampeded on, and the speculative banks and the government are colluding to destroy the American working class, get a fucking clue.

Friends don't let friends vote Gingrich!
MooseOfReason 2 months ago
Steve, who can we trust to remain faithful to their campaign platform once elected? Who has kept their hands clean while serving in Washington? Who will keep their oath to defend the Constitution?
There are many candidates, but only one can be trusted to do as they say they'll do and not sell out to the special interests in Washington.

Regarding the Dept. of Education, it's also worth noting that Gingrich voted for the creation of it in 1979, and voted to increase its spending in later years. It's not even necessary to point out which side of these votes Ron Paul was on, because we all already know the answer to that.
Great video, Tom. Thank you.

Sam Seder has a radio show and said he would debate any libertarian. If you're a glutton for punishment by a belligerent liberal, it might be worth humiliating him.
VictoryInTruth 2 months ago
The Department of Education was a love child of Newt Gingrich. The 84 ethics violations that lead to him getting ousted by his own party. The only way people can vote for Gingrich is to ignore his past. Jesus said you will know them by their fruits.

Outstanding!

Gingrich couldn't uphold his marriage vows, do you think he'll uphold his oath of office? Here's a prediction, he'll cheat on America with Israel.
