He just wasn't as convincing as years past. Maybe it's just me being a paranoid fan, maybe it's just his disgust with the current state of this country, maybe he had a sore throat... I don't know. But I was there and saw what I saw. I mean, considering they ONLY planned to do this show and then later added the Rock The Bells shows - and swear up and down they won't be doing anything beyond that... sorta speaks for itself... Let's hope they prove me wrong!
I completely LOVED seeing this long-needed reunion -- but at the same time, I DID notice little things like the mentioned "minimal-screaming" factor
Zack frequently pulled the Mic away from his face during parts he would usually be screaming his heart out in. Seeing close up shots, him shaking his head with an unconvinced look on his face... it just got me worrying these Rock The Bells tickets I'm holding are going to see a surprise cancellation.
Listen, I'm a HUGE Rage fan. One of the biggest and I was right there in the crowd at Coachella also. Rage was my first live concert back in the early 90s, Rage was my first mosh pit; I was in the pits at Free Mumia; I was even at their very last show before the break up... So I've seen them quite a few times
As such a huge fan, I would expect to be a bit more critical then others and I'm telling you, watch this entire set and compare it to many of their other shows.
every time i tried to look up the setlist for this show, there was one song i felt was missing. Thanxx for correcting all those apparent setlists, I can't wait to hear Know your Enemy in July @ Rock the Bells
Dunno guys... I was there, I DID love it... but i really gotta question if Zack's heart is really in it... he refuses to scream and focused way more on pronunciation and annunciation... seems his side "career" has influenced his true RAGE.
Alphakry is on CRACK. "he refuses to scream and focused way more on pronunciation and annunciation" - what? RAGE are a political band ... if noone could hear the lyrics, they would ahve failed half their job. Gimp
I came from Australia to see RATM! It was meant to be one show only, now they've announced an Australian tour! I don't know if I'm pissed off or happy.
cool solo, and they should definitly up tims vocals like grand oylimpic auditoriom, it added alot of awesomeness
