It looks like I am going back to the classic days of dOvetastic Microwave Theater (Season Ten and earlier).

Some Science: My hypothesis why the container exploded is because as the liquid heats, the atoms begins to separate each other, and the container would explode if enough atoms are fast. Sorry if I am incorrect.

One other thing, it MUST be one of those microwaves that uses an actual 40 watt appliance (fridge/stove) bulb, which explains the brightness :D

Comparing: 40 watts alliance bulb with 60 watt standard=same brightness, if not brighter.

codemsan, actually the galileo thermometer was having a weird effect on the wattage of the microwave. There was repeated power spikes that caused the voltage rise.

oh, okay, i did realize that the microwave light was fluxuating a bit, and it sounded almost as if you put the microwave on half power causingf the microwave to cycle the magnetron on and off, but still a cool effect indeed!
