Seriously though all cultural differences aside, that is pretty awesome that they did both of those massive trails. I could care less how they do their hair, they put in work to hike that much. As long as they let me have my guns and religion they're ok in my book :)
People have the freedom and right to go wherever, whenever, do whatever they want as long as its legal and go for however long they want! Starting early next year I am going to take a year to bicycle across America! I am going to everything I need on my back!

Usually thru hikers pack extremely light, I bet the bulk of their weight was the giant baggie of pot that was needed to last them through the entire ordeal.
yeah that girl wants to fuck right now look at her eyes. shed like a fat one in her... aside from that though hiking alone is fucking boring. i thought id be cool going six days on the at here in pa. i started at the hamburg resevoir i only made it to bake oven knob. i got lost and turned around at hawk mountain sancutaury heading north. i didnt take the white blazes like i was sposed to. i got bored and just went home on day 2. never again by myself. way too boring, and fuck bears.
