@ronnoten I agree to a point Ron. I think the problem wasn't so much that they did nothing but just that measures that were taken in the belief of improving safety actually made it worse. In 1961 the fatalities occured because a wooden barrier broke. Solution? put stronger steel barriers in. Result? It causes a different type of disaster. With hindsight the urge is to scream No, you'll make it worse but back then they didn't know any better.

That 'joke' is 37 years old, probably higher than your IQ. I was on a bus to Maryhill going home from that game when a Celtic supporter stood up and said xx less Orange bastards. The Rangers fans couldn't get near him as the Celtic fans had already dragged him off the bus to give him a kicking.

ALL of Glasgow - Blue/Green/whatever (apart from a tiny percentage of assholes like you) was in mourning that night.
