The only thing that sucks about 1st gen. pokemon is if you got poisoned or burned, you were basically screwed, unless you managed to knock out the other poke in time.

Don't you worry about that im currently working on my Pokemon Yellow team so of course I'd use Pikachu and in the games Pikachu the talking one still has the same VA as in the anime.
