If I knew you in person, I'd definitely want to help you out, but I'd still try to get you to sing it yourself. All this American Idol junk has gotten us used to fancy-voiced folks, but you know, I'd rather hear the songwriter sing it, even if they're not a trained or skilled vocalist. Everyone needs practice!
