There is nothing like A} being from Boston and visiting NY {especially Coney Island} because you feel as though you traveled cross country to go there. And B} meeting a true New Yorker like the gentleman in this video. That was just pure luck that he was there and your timing was right. By hearing that "he grew up next to Coney" and "he rode the parachute ride as a kid" would have been special for me to hear his story. Nice video,really good job.
Just rode this on Saturday with my sons. I told my sister in Dublin about it today and she says my Dad took the same ride in 1960 while visiting from Ireland! I didn't even know....weird! She even says she has a picture of him at the Wheel! Weird, huh? I live in Boston now. Coney Island is a blast! A National Treasure...
I went on the Wonder Wheel yesterday (5-30-2010) on the Swinging Cars and it was SOOOOOOOOOO fun!!!!! I went on it with my brother and I wanted to go again!!!! But sadly, we didn't have enough money
yeah but the game is based on a movie that came out in 1979, and the director filmed in coney island ans the film opened up with the wonder wheel glowing purple at night. and yes i know the warriors are not real, i was saying if it was like a what if i saw them and they were real
i want to go here because i was a MASSIVE warriors fan as a child. i watched the movie so much (still do) and i completed the game 53 times :P
