I happen to like the strip. And as for the video? It's SUPPOSED to be bad. And if anybody doesn't want their imagination ruined, nobody's forcing you to watch the vid. So, there!
I don't think Greg's the worst strip writer (Batiuk, McEldowney, the guys doing Dustin are worse) but his strip used to be fun to read a while back. When he tried to write stories that weren't retreads. Now it's just been Luann/Gunther/Brad in a constant state of limbo. He has a world of opportunity to try new stories but he hasn't done anything bold in a long time, he needs to get it together. He has a job so many would kill for and he keeps doing such weak stories.

Yes the video and song are both terrible. It's meant to be that way. If you read the comic you'll understand. (Though I agree with the fact that Greg should stop making these videos for the comic. These leave us with little imagination.)
This video was at least short. It was short and not long enough to get stuck in my head unlike "Hey Boy" or "I'm A Snot." And that I can definitely stand behind. This was pretty terrible but when compared to any other Luann song it beats the others out.
Why do they keep making these videos to accompany the strip? They should have just left the songs up to our imaginations because the reality of them somehow ended up being worse. So much worse.
