  • I like it but i have to say i like call me mr j and that series better but still prettu good and funny.

  • this is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • the joker looks like johnny depp

  • Doesn't hold a candle to Heath Ledger, but lets face it, WHO CAN? I think Blinky productions are AMAZING and I hope WB picks you guys up to direct a proper live action DC TV -series!

  • @theonavarro24 we made this before ledger was cast.

  • Classic Joker. <3 More cosplayers should be like you. I'm so tired of Heath Ledger Joker's. His acting might have been good but he acted and looked NOTHING like the comic Joker. You do! Loved the laugh at 4:16

  • you are like Ace Ventura in Joker Style

  • this is a great film, love all your films blinky, this guy my not be the best joker but he would make a bad ass riddler

  • whats the name of this song at 0:56

  • God I love the Joker..and his sick sense of malice. Always brings a smile too my face xD

  • God I love the Joker..and his sick sense of malice

  • Okay... in full honesty, not nearly as good as Mr. J. But still alright :)

  • top notch and harley made this video veeerryyyy original i enjoyed it thanks guys i only wish i could be a part of something like this. and yeh sounded like jim carrey as joker

  • lol....

  • this was like Jim Carrey playing the Joker

  • @King2123 Jim Carrey played The Riddler -.-

  • @theonavarro24 he was making a comparison, not a statement.

  • @theonavarro24 yeah what's your point? I am aware of that, I was pointing out that this performance of the Joker reminded me of Jim Carrey and if I wanted to see Carrey as the Joker this is basically as close as im getting.

  • this joker is better than heath's. he's actually smiling, and laughing. and he's not so serious as heath ledger was.

  • I'd like to see you do a Killing Joke short starring this actor as the Joker.

  • They were clearly inspired by Stanley Kubricks 'A Clockwork Orange', still it was entertaing.

  • great acting

  • this was quite good. but the laugh just wasn't menacing enough.

  • Nolan's got nothing on your Joker keep up the good work!

  • Who's your favorite Batman villain. besides Joker or Riddler

  • @TheHMarvel catwoman.

  • the joker sounds a bit like jack Nicholson

  • "That man-wife of yours" Haahaa. AWESOME video! :D

  • This guy actually strikes me as far more Riddler than Joker. That's a cute Harley- the way she says "anything you say, Mr. J" is just perfect.

  • That was Absolutely amazing!!!!!!

why don't more people like this!?

  • what can i say u two are the best ive ever seen

  • I his the interpretation.

  • if you don't mind me asking, what is the piece of music you use at the very beginning?

  • @BROKENHOUSEFILMS it was from freddy vs jason.

  • @blinky500 hey chris have you ever considered doing anything related to superboy. not clark kent as a kid but his clone connor

  • i know this doesnt have much to do with this video other than it is Batman villians

but I think the guy who played the question in your other fan film would be a perfect riddler

  • @BROKENHOUSEFILMS we used him for scarecrow in mr.j

  • @blinky500 yeah, i just noticed that as well

i dunno, just the way he looks gives off riddler vibes to me

but he makes a good scarecrow as well

  • @BROKENHOUSEFILMS yeah but he isnt as well spoken enough for riddler. i dubbed him for question.

  • @blinky500 haha oh well that settles it

    =)

  • I want a 52 fan trailer from you guys.

  • fund it and i will gladly film it.

  • did you say that you tried to make a sequel to this?

  • i tried and technically did. i couldnt get my original actors out from the west coast to shoot the movie, so i shot an original version of it call JACK + JILL. its on my home page.

  • I saw it already and it's great.

  • I like it. It's like Heath Ledger meets Jack Nicholson.

  • i like this joker its a great video 5 stars

  • Ok, given that there are a few miniscule errors, honestly, Chris, this was great!!!

  • thanks.

  • they should have used a propper joker logo card

  • this was shot in 2006 before they started selling joker cards.

  • no i rember they sold em in the warner brothers shop in lakeside .. the classic joker logo face on ther back of the cards

  • well i clearly had no access to the lakeside warner bros shop during the time i filmed this.

  • fair enough but you did a great job anyway

  • thanks.

  • this should have been the joker !! awesome stuff !!!!!!

  • I think that the joker needed more makeup... but it might be the light. oh well.

    Greate acting... love it

  • nice

  • whATS the song at the end

  • @thatlegodude1 it's an early version of I'm So Sick by Flyleaf

  • please make another one of these! I really prefer it too the Mr. J series

  • @BROKENHOUSEFILMS agreed :)

  • what kind of make up did you use?

  • ben nye white face powder with a protective sealant so he could sweat and it wouldnt run.

  • oh ok cool thanks :) i noticed he was sweating and it wasn't running. what did you use for sealant? sorry im prying, im just in the works of my own fan film short and am looking for ideas

  • Awesome, how did they get white make up that good

  • I happen to like this joker myself.

  • that video is awesome good job man

  • oh gosh, lol

  • now this is the Joker i loved The new Heath version was too dark

  • that was the idea they wanted to make the movies dark.

  • Nailed the harley voice when you said Mr J

  • jokers life is based on one person the DARK KNIGHT without him theres no joker.

  • This Joker is so origanal!!!!

keep doing what your doing, hes an ass kicker :)

  • wow ... i love the laugh of joker its like "the joker"

  • 3rd time I've watched this over the years.

Even now, in the post-DK world, STILL AWESOME!

Your Joker actor looks GREAT, and does SUCH a good job.

He's very original; most fanfilm Jokers just do bad copies of Mark Hamil (or now, Heath Ledger). This Joker was amazing.

So was Harley! Great look, great acting!

p.s:- Love the little references to Thorne and Dagget.

  • Reminded me of Jim Carrey.

  • Great song choice for the end.

  • Joker looks like Quentin Tarantino.

  • ok well she is really good

  • this that the same harley from call me mr. j?

  • this is deanna miller. johanna telander played harley in mr.j

  • what you want?

my star on the hollywood walk of fame LOL

  • You guys are awesome. Seriously, keep it up.

  • im 100% in agreement with kingpointy. ever since the dark knight came out, there have been hundreds of joker fan films but the all. copy. heath. yes, heath was a great performance but does that mean everyone else has to abandon originality and creative integrity?

  • upset the joker toxin wasn't included!

  • classic joker!

    thank you !!!!

what type of camera did you use?

  • everything from 2006 up i shot on a sony hdfx1. 2005-2006 i used a canon xl1. 2004-2005 i used home video.

  • i like this version of the joker better than Ledger's

  • That was amazing 5\5 stars.awesome vid

  • harley sounds perfect and...awesome!! It's different from heath version but I like it this way too! the way it is in most batman comics...classy, comical and insane!!!

  • Man wife? a cop and his boyfriend....that's new

  • Harley was really good. n_n

  • Wow, this was pretty great. Wonderful job :)

  • good film there

  • joker

    sounds like johnny knoxvill

  • I would like to say that while the costume, lighting, and set was not as impressive as Patient J, you still did a decent job- and UNLIKE Patient J, you have a halfway decent writer that doesn't stick to every conflicting Joker cliche in the book.

  • i guess i should also mention that unlike patient j, this short film was shot in 2 hours while i was on vacation in los angeles whereas patient j was strung out to over a 5 week shoot (if i remember correctly). my joker film was meant to imply what christopher nolan's joker might look like before we found out heath ledger was cast. and as you have stated, we were going for anything BUT cliche joker.

  • Honestly, I find this much more enjoyable than Patient J. You do a good job.

  • This is a great short. Great camera movement and composition. Captures the cheesy comical anarchy of the Joker perfect. Love the "hi". Great sound effects!

  • outstanding! AMAZING!

  • how do you get permission to use other people's music?

  • i didnt. its a fan film and im not selling it. so long as i dont sell it, i dont need permission.

  • if a movie like this existed would be a total hit

nd harley quiin is hot nd cute

  • I love how you can play both Jokers.

  • he doesnt

in this he plays the cop Joker interrogates

  • i didnt act in this film. i shot it. i only acted in Mr.J

  • oh! sorry about that, it looked like you at some angles.

  • nope, wasnt me. check the credits.

also, i dont have curly hair.

  • fucking beautiful!!!!

  • Nice job, The Joker performance was really great¡

  • harleys hott

  • wow... 311 comments & im the 312~

    liked it allottttttttttttttttttt... u r 1 hot Joker Jok~

  • this show is some freeeeeeeaky shit

  • Very Good!!!

  • is that a demo Flyleaf of Im so sick? and oh nice job!

  • i like the joker

    he was funny

but the harley was kinda anoying

  • A mix of the comic book and a good tribute to Nicholson's. I found that it even had a bit of Clockwork Orange with the Ode to Joy in the background. I really like it and I found that Harley's impression was spot on. My only problem was that the Joker's voice went from playful to intense and a whole set of other emotions. But that's my only real gripe. Very well done, 4/5.

  • Nice job making Joker exactly what he is: one dark, cosmically-hilarious, sick mothafucka.

  • Very nice. The guy playing the Joker looks a bit like Quentin Tarantino. Did you think that, if Ledger never got the part, that Tarantino would've been a great Joker? Because I think so; I mean, he already has a Crazy Vibe to him. True, Tarantino would've been great, but Ledger will be the Joker FOREVER!!! I mean, there is no POSSIBLE way anyone can top his performance.

  • what do u use to edit ur movie theyre realy professional

  • final cut pro.

  • Very good Joker even though he is not prof..

  • Though Heath Ledger is the best Joker ever!!!This one was freakin awesome as well!!!Harley Quinn was awesome too!!!VERY COOL!!!:)

  • damn good!

  • Oh yeah thast what I like, making good ol´Jacks Joker look funny and badass at the same time.

    Nice job yet again man!

  • how do you put up movies thats longer then 10 min i cant

    plz answer

  • compress better.

  • split them into ten minute segments and upload as many videos as it takes to put it up entirley

  • Harley has a nice ass n thsi film

  • this is good, thanks

  • amazing the actor as joker and harley were amazing very good i loved it

  • I wonder if there is going to be a 'Harley Quinn' fan-film in the future?

  • watch the mr.j video

  • good joker but more make up but the joker from dark knight much better but have to say not bad of a job

  • this was made before heath ledger was cast as joker. its unfair to compare.

  • all and all not bad, is it just me or does someone else that worked on this video found of a clockwork orange? I definitely saw a mix of Alex Delarge and the joker in there. all and all I'd say your better than the guy who did the video this is a response to, but the dude on joker blogs has you beat

  • this video was made in 2006 before heath ledger was cast for dark knight. thus, it was made before joker blogs existed. its very hard to say the joker blogs has me beat as my video pre-dates that series by 3 years.

  • yes and no, just cause you did something first doesn't make it better...for example Jack Nicholson obviously does not beat Ledger, but you can't deny that Jack gave a good performance. All it comes down to is who does a better job of the character, and given that both of the series you guys did are more or less original, I'd have to say that the joker blogs captures the Joker in a better light, not just because he's similar to Ledger's joker, but because he also adds more dark humor to the part

  • i wasnt trying to make a humorous film. i was making a serious and dark film. my joker isnt meant to make you laugh. you cant compare this film to the joker blogs. theyre 2 different things. and 2 different renditions of joker. if you want to compare joker blogs to another ledger performance, then sure. but it would be unfair to both films to compare one to the other.

  • more specifically because one is an original performance and another is an impersonation of someone else's performance.

  • fair but the thing is the joker was always humorous. Not like the clown they made him into in the fifties but there was always something that made him think he was rib bustin funny and the way he acted was actually terrifying because he made us laugh, which when you think about it is terrible. the joker you've presented, though good, doesn't seem to really think he's funny I see the idea of humor in the joker blogs. but your still way better than the other guy trying to do this stuff. keep it up

  • well i think thats a matter of opinion. some people think the joker needs to be funny. some dont. this particular joker wasnt meant to be humorous. he was meant to be a dark killer who found his own actions to be funny. thats what i think this version of the joker constitutes.

  • fair enough but I think you did do a good job

  • thank you.

  • I don't even try to compare the Jack and Heath in their performances because they were completely different characters. It's the same in this case.

  • idk, they were different characters, but they were portraying the same role. and to me the only true way to tell who's better is to see who the people like more. And not just idiot fan girls who go see it to check out the guys, they count but more importantly the fans that made these characters popular ie comic book nerds. if not for them we wouldn't have batman or the dark knight. I say TDK is better because i have not heard 1 nerd say he didn't like it, however jack and his jet shooting...sad

  • Jack did a lot of good for the part, but in the end heath did more. So I say heath's the better joker

  • Again just an observation. But just because they were both called Joker and fought against batman doesn't make them the same role. I don't deny that it was a very stunning performance. Heath stole that entire movie and made it worth seeing five times in the theater. I'm not saying one has to be amazing and the other has to be crap. There have been dozens of different takes on Joker between movies, television, cartoons (don't forget about Mark Hamill now) and the comics.

  • I've got nothing but respect for anyone who takes on the Joker persona for any medium.

  • true, but no matter how good someone else may be it still comes right down to who is the best and no matter how many interpretations of the joker are done i don't think anyone is gonna top ledger

  • Agree to disagree then.

  • awesome great capturing the animated series joker and putting his madness to his max with the beating to a bloody pulp with a stick part. good thing there was no blood.just captures his charm and madness.

  • that´s a cool Joker ... some bits of this and that, he could be the real joker ... like the one in the killing joke graphic novel ...!!

    great work, man!

  • best Joker ever

  • BRAVO!!! That was EXCELLENT!

    *Gives a well-deserved standing O*

    ;-D

  • Well done to the dude playing the joker, he did it pretty well, although i reckon he should have made them have a big smile with the knife :P definatly a joker trademark.

  • he did.

  • Oh ok, well i couldn't see it very clearly :P

  • aw, shame it wasn't longer. this was soooo great!!! it made my day, from bad to... better- thank you!

  • VERY! well done..:)

  • Perfect Joker.

  • now I like this one more than the ledger- one.

  • Good! :)

  • nice work man

first time i seen the joker won but liked it hates cops after all so that he kills 2 makes it juss a lil bit more funy to watch :D

  • As with all of your other videos, you have captured the essence of this character wonderfully.

  • thanks

  • Joker looked and acted as i expected, because, well, he's the Joker. LoL. And Harley surprisingly did a good portrayal, compared to the others here on the 'Tube. So I agree with the others on this. You should DEFINITELY do more like this one.

    --5 stars :)

  • I think the way you portrayed the Joker there is actually like mid way between all three types of Joker's, the Mark Hammill, Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger one.

Even though Ledger's was only out last year, it still has the darker side that normally wasn't present

  • thanks. but i did shoot this before ledger was cast.

  • I know, that is why I said "Even though Ledger's was only out last year"

it just seems like there is the dark side that Ledger had, especially the part with the knife

  • yeah, i always wondered if he ever got a chance to see this film or it was just coincidence.

  • well I'm sure Heath wouldn't have been a big YouTube guy XD

but you never know about Chris Nolan!

ps. I forgot to mention how good your portrayal was, you should definately think of doing some more

  • thanks. i plan on doing more.

  • that was very nicely done!

can anyone tell me what was the song at the end of the video?

  • Flyleaf - 'I'm So Sick'

(that's an older version though, the new one is much better)

  • Allrighty Then...It's disturbing and i give it an "A"

  • A lot of inspiration coming from the cartoon. Nice.

  • awsome harley but the joker seems like jim carrey

  • awsome just awsome thats all i can say

  • Daaaammmnnnnn!

  • Wow. THIS.
