@099pokemonfan Pretty sure I was able to use it in this video (not sure if I actually did), but in general no, you don't have to beat the game to use the Move Deleter. He's good to go as soon as you access his city. (Blackthorn, Lilycove, Fuschia, Canalave, Mistralton, etc.)

The only Move-related guys you need to beat the game to use are the Battle Frontier tutors who teach Pain Split, Super Fang, Heal Bell, etc.

@kaziua6 The effects of the PokéRus are permanent. Once you lose the purple "PKRS" indicator, you can't spread it, but your EVs will continue to receive the doubling bonus (a very good thing).

@kaziua6 The little yellow :| on the status screen indicates PokéRus. Anyway, to increase happiness, just walk around with it, give it haircuts, let Blue's sister groom it, that sort of thing.

the old lady just say; sorry to dissapoint you that pokemon you have can learn this move, but it hasn't come to trust you fully yet... until then, i can't make it learn this move. help me :O !

@kaziua6 Just as she said, you have to have the Pokémon "trust you" which is code for max (or at least near max) happiness. I'm pretty sure that's needed for both the old lady (Draco Meteor) and the old man (Elemental Hyper Beams).

@xiI2USHo The Move Relearner is here. He's the chubby guy. The Move Deleter will delete moves from anything, but the two old people at the table only teach moves to certain Pokémon.

But regardless, check the upload date -- November 2009, well before HGSS was out in the US.

And I don't mess with ROMs. That'd leave a bad taste in my mouth.

@denisodns He's right there in the "Move Emporium". Should be the balding man on the far left.

Incidentally, he's the only one that isn't new to Blackthorn...he was there in GSC as the original Move Deleter. (A blessing for those whose who taught HMs haphazardly in RBY.)

my dialga can't learn draco meteor. i have it traded over from diamond, it is in my heartgold, it has max happiness and love but the woman says it hasn't trusted me fully yet. what shall i do?

@racerreiss maybe its because happiness changes when u trade to another trainer. i know thats the reason for me.
