  • cool mate

  • Cool setup where in the uk are ya from dude, Im also from the uk

  • @superserverdude Australia I'm pretty sure o.O Doesn't sound british to me, and I'm from the UK too.

  • @FKProds Come to think of it after listerning to him a little harder i agree he does sound like he is from Ozy Land :D

  • WOW That thing is Enormous.

  • well, now I'm jealous, not of the net connection but of the HP enclosure and the setup. very nice :)

  • What do you use such a setup for ?

  • Internet upload/download speed?

  • I think I'm gonna make my own home server this summer with Ubuntu server edition

  • Must cost an awful lot to run all that equipment >_<

  • HAHAHAHA. Noisy , and Useless. :D

  • @TheKesukeMiyagi - Much like yourself then :)

  • @RichLion BOOSH

  • @RichLion Damn you burned @TheKesukeMiyagi

  • @TheKesukeMiyagi - I agree, waist of space and shitty lawl, one server is enough for home stuffs.

  • u should get a comcast 50mbps just $100 a month yeah ill get it once i get a life lol

  • @alltimegamer247 He lives In AU....

  • omg is der verrückt xD

  • you sound like a redneck... and you also sound like you dont no what you are talking about but that might just be your terribly annoying voice

  • i gotta get a rack like that just for the hell of it lol

  • Neat setup. how much did it cost in total and what game is the gameserver hosting?

  • How much is your electricity bill? Got a lot of hardware from the looks of that room. I am slowly trying to limit what stays on.

  • What are you hosting?

  • What kind of server? Windows 2000 Server? Sweet!

  • What???

  • Making a generalized guess, I'd guess that to be a 22U Rack from HP. It looks to be about 3' tall, and 1U ~= 1.75" : 22U *1.75" = 38.5" /12 = 3.2'. The rack looks to cost $1.5K USD from HP.

  • can that server host a ea online game server

  • nice setup!

  • whats the name of that server rack?

  • HP, don't know the model.

  • I ought to get mine on vid. Nice setup.

  • dude!!! why do you need an exchange server for home? have you like 30 kids? lol

  • Actually, having your own mail server is kind of cool. You can set up your own list servers, share contacts with the whole family, and get around the space restrictions set by a lot of ISP's. I use MailEnable, instead of Exchange, but it's just as good for home needs.

  • ur lucky, im with orange - ther are pricks!

They actually ban you from running e-mail servers and or squid proxy servers from home..

  • very nice setup. I bet that room gets warm in the summer ;-)

  • cool, how much is your internet bill

  • iiNet 60Gb/60Gb, about $AUD100 a month. Most of the data gets used on Azureus traffic. ;)

  • id do the same but new zealand has crap net

  • sounds like you are with DSL, Cable is the way. not that telstraclear is actually any better then telecom.

  • lol yea cabe is the way... once nelso gets it! of to welly soon to start up my biz

  • some australian guy has developed dsl with 100x the bandwidth by optimizing the phone line tech, sooo when this tech hits usa who knows what will be better.. prolly cable still

  • Yeah, ADSL - Had 15Mbit down / 1Mbit up.
