  • @11horsepower if you are watching the video at the channel then yes...

  • People who are having your screen close when your trying to give yourself a seizure. The reason it was happening to me was cause i renamed the file, don't rename and it should work.

  • def draw(self): self.screen.fill((uniform(0,255),uniform(0,255),uniform(255))

    it wont work :/

  • @MrSpeedbrake In case you never got around this, in that code you provided, you need to have the last values as the same as the rest.

  • @MrSpeedbrake Supposed to be self.screen((uniform(0,255), uniform(0,255), uniform(0,255)))

  • Hey, I am new to this and was wondering could you make a 3d tutorial?

  • Thanks for this very interesting looking tutorial! I have learned C for just one year at school now, so I'll probably struggle a bit with object oriented programming. Anyways, python is something I wanted to learn, and game programming is my dream! I'll follow this for sure :) Thanks for posting!

  • it doesnt work, it says theres no module called pygamehelper.

  • I'm having the same problem as GGames2009, I double click on "startcode.py" and it just quickly appears and then is gone, and the white canvas doesn't come up at all.

  • @RAWRimaTroll Try right clicking the startcode and see if it give you the option that says edit in IDLE.

  • Hello , I got the same problem as GGames2009. I couldnt find python 2.6.5 so i downloaded python 2.6.6. But as i launch the startercode.py there's no window pop up, the batch file disappears really fast. . . . .

  • you must launch the application from the command prompt (which doesn't just dissapear after the program crashes). To do this, hit Windows Key + R, type in cmd, hit enter. Navigate to where your code is using the "cd" command. Then type "python startcode.py" to execute it. After the program crashes you will see the error written there. That may help you debug it. Try to find the Python I'm using

  • @badmephisto I tried doing that, I went into command prompt and typed "start C:\PythonProjects\Game1\startcode.py" and it did exactly the same thing as before.

  • Hey, I got Python 3.1 and pygame compatible with it. But whenever I launch a .py file, it shows a batch file which disappears really fast... no Window...

  • @GGames2009 go to the website in description and check Additional Info for Tutorial 3 or 4 for fix

  • @GGames2009 use 2.6 like he did in the video
