  • Seems like an awesome sport.

  • The only major problem with the way inter is structured is that nobody ever needs to try for 6-- so they don't. The keeper ends up not doing too much other than stopping the occasional behind.

  • 1:45, he could throw the ball if he wanted to but the AFL instinct is too strong :P

  • Hey Dong,

I dont know what point u at tryin to make? Of course AFL players, who are professiona, are going to be fitter than ameuters. My point is that Gaelic is far more based on skill than AFL. I was at 3 AFL games when i was in Melbourne. Dey wer all 60 point trashings, by half time I wanted to go home I was so bored. D only exciting thing that happened last night was when Bernard Brogan smashed d ball to d back of d ozzie net. We didnt play well, but, tactics will b very different come sat.

  • D aussie are a bunch of meathead basketball players. Less so the players in d current ozzie panel. U even get a point in ozzie rules for kicking the ball wide. u can assault an opponent on the pitch & u wont even get a yellow card. D skill levels in gaelic are far higher, if u catch a ball in gaelic u dont get a mark, d crowd dont look on in amazement, u simply get on wit d game.

  • @MrCormac7777 i'll have you know,

australians play afl all year and half of them have never even played gaelic football

it's a whole new ball game to them

i know gaelic football is a very tough game to play and it involves much strength,

but the field is 175 metres long and 122 metres wide and it involves a ridiculous amount of speed.

and may i ask how big is a gaelic footy field?

you can't bloody bag out a sport if you don't know what it takes to play it

    get over yourself

  • Both Gaelic football and AFL demand skill to play. Both are also great games. The main difference is one demands more speed the other more strength.

Although they are highly skillful games, more skill/practice is required in hurling.

  • does any 1 know the song that played when they came back showing highlights i think 1st game after they came back for 2nd quarter

  • does any 1 know the song that played when they came back showing highlights i think 1st game after they came back for 2nd quarter

  • GO AUSTRALIA!

  • the aussis can go back down under ............... there mammy's skirts and lick their pussy

  • Wtf is wit that song ... Go ireland ... :D

  • This is the way it should be played none of that crazy fighting lol

  • @TheExcellentEdge im not fat put nice attempt at a comeback dumbass

  • by that video looks like gaylick got owned by the mighty AFL AGAIN!

  • @bones111987 Look up the scores of the tests before you write a stupid comment like that.

  • @bones111987 .........did you not see the score?

  • aussie rules kicking, handballing and marking require skill

  • this year showed once nd for all that gaelic is a game that requires skill while any stupid brute can play aussie rules

  • As a Brit with no axe to grind, I think the idea of an annual hybrid sport is a great one. I would love to get across to croke park and see it. The fact that the overall record is tied suggest the balance of the rules is about right. We used to get AFL action on channel 4 in the UK years ago and I remember a fantastic player called Peter Daicos (how long ago am I talking about) but it has not been shown here for many years.

  • Daicos, you'd be going back near 20 years with that one.

  • That long? Ch 4 in the UK showed lots of "exotic" sports in the 80s/90s AFL, Sumo, american football even kabaddi at one point. All were presented really well and all have a lot to offer. I liked the gridiron so much I played for 15+yrs. As a bigger kind of guy Aussie rules looked like too much running for me. Great to watch though.

  • Just remembered Darren Bennett who was an ex-AFL player who became a very good NFL punter over in the states for a decade and made a few big hits on returns as he was a big fella 6'5" or so. Was he a top AFLer or just OK? he had monster power in his kick.

  • and btw ... running in straight lines and passing the ball 10 metres every time .... not to mention poor kicking skills.... any peanut with the brain the size of a tictac could play league..... Unlike AFL which requires numerous skills

  • now you can jsut stfu galic football is way older than afl and you msut not know galic football one bit you pice of stinkin trash

  • gaelic.......

  • gaelic football and hurling is what requires skill

  • WELL MUZZANATOR U STUPID WOG MUPPET..... AT AN AFL GRANDFINAL U GET 100 000 PEOPLE ... FUKN TOOL, likewise on anzac day. and good on ya ... tv ratings... u contradicted yaself... afl is only played in a small part of the world... as compared to a world game on a world network like FOX ... i think 36 as compared to 26 stacks up all right.

  • Rugby Leauge just had 81, 000 people at a Europeon Club final in London - It beats AFL hands down in the globel stakes, also smashes AFL in TV ratings - 26 of the top 100 FOX sports rated shows were NRL AFL first game came in at 36...AFL is a marginalized game that is played in a small part of a small country

  • do you have a life?

  • i agree with one of the guys below........ireland has such more advantage with the ball shape and they know how to get them 6 pointers easier because thats in their sport....we only got the advantage by tackling and speed

  • we also have 3 million people and we dont allow the sort of contacxt you do.....

    so stop makign excuses pussy

  • well look whos a winey fucking racest bastard commenting how bad our sport is! and by the way it doesnt stop every 10 seconds and it does make sence if you actually tune in and learn it!

  • The Irish have a much bigger advantage at this game, if the ball was shaped like an Aussie rules one, we would win easy since only a few select Irish men can kick our ball

  • 1 its easier to kik a ball thats shaped lik a soccer ball an irish person wouldent touch a ball like that. an aussie could touch a soccer ball and do that. and aussies have wn the games before.

  • bollocks its nothing near our game in terms of contact so stop whinig bithc

  • Ireland won this test comfortably. Its a shame the Aussies couldnt make it up this year.

  • hey bigspin stop crying, its not our fault our team isn't made of butter you bunch of softies...here is an idea, yous play our game and see if yous can win will be hard seeings tho yous cant beat us at your own game. most peoplecall this soccer anyways

  • who the fuck calls this soccer?

  • Ok firstly, the Irish players are made of skin, bone and muscle, duh.. :P

I don't know if you know what International rules is, but incase you didn't it's a mix of both, and guess who won the last series mate ;)

And you obviously don't have a clue what you're talking about judging by the last sentence..

  • BWAHAhahahahahahaha

fiddle dee dee potatoes, in other words.

You should perhaps watch a game of AFL before commenting on stoppages.

Despite what you say, I think that this concept is great for both codes.

  • Game Is effo Better When Payed FAIRLY ... Gaa Players Just Get Pissed Wen Aussies Take Them Down Nd Den Dey Start A Fight But Then Four Or FIve Aussies Are On Them

  • lads ye are all retards

  • haha amatures beat the inbreds:)

  • i thought that this was a great test to be honest i dont know why your all moaning cause it was a good game.

  • Jesus christ everyone who has commented on this video is a fucking retard.

  • That music so wasn't appropriate for that clip..

  • the english biggest bunch of queers ever

  • this is a stupid argument anyway. the irish drink, the aussis drink. both teams play good football either way and both teams complain about underhanded tactics and cheap shots. and just to clear up an earlier comment...a good portion of aussis have irish names and origins so keep bashing your origins you dumb fuck...

  • @GazzaV23

    Haha spot on!

  • this problem can be easily resolved by just looking at records.ireland have one more international rules tests than australia.

  • check this out: 90% of GAA(Irish) players who've converted to AFL(Australian) are kicking the ball (sherrin)around after a week like they were born with it....no wonder all the AFL are falling over each other for Irish talent. We are better at your game than you are! How does that feel besides being gene pool rejects?

  • according to some silly irish cunt. shut the fuck up and drink another pint faggot.

  • that was a lame comback man....im pretty sure aussies drink just as many pints and are proud of it.

  • If the irish ar dumb wat does it say bout the australlians who lost to dem. and u cant call ireland convicts cos australia was set up a a convict prison island.

  • if your representing ireland then yes the irish are fucking retarded.

  • look, I've been to your arse-hole-of-the-world Country and most of yis hate AFL.... they probably hate you too if they've any sense.

  • U fail sir. 9 miliion aussies follow AFL. only 2-3 million follow rugby and we just damn well suck at soccer. :) look it up.

  • Sonicfury234

    I looked it up

    AFL 6.2 million

    RL 3.9 million

so AFL wins but not by the margin you claim.

  • but what kind of sport is this?! i never see it! it look's like soccer and rugby!

    i preferer rugby lol

  • 0.23 Floored...by an ACCOUNTANT!!!

  • Hahahahahahhaha!!!

  • lmao! brilliant!

  • @dunbainneman and he got back up unlike a faggot irish.

  • Comment removed

  • Marcellin20, of course we have a sense of humour. It seems you hit a sore spot with a particularly sensitive guy. I'm sure he'll get over it with time. Talk about splitting fucking hairs. You're not a born again non smoker are you Oisin? If you are step in front of a moving truck

  • Everyone has the right to freedom of speech but if i was to say Australians are fat ugly-looking bastards that wouldn't be right would it?

  • Is there any specific difference between international rules and Gaelic football?

  • tackling amount

  • point system is different in gaa you have goals and points so ur score would be for eg 1-12 to 2-10 a goal being worth 3 points, also in gaa we play 2 35 min halves as opposed to quarters in international rules its goals overs and behinds all added together s results would show for eg 57 to 51

they're just some of the main differences there are different legal tackles aswel

  • i was talkin about the troubles

    not the game

  • that was obviousely not wat i was talking about first

  • how the fuck is that true

what du u mean by convicts

    people fighting for their rights

    how are they convicts?

it WAS the caatholica such as I.R.A

versus the British army and The R.U.C

  • it wasnt prodestant vs catholics ffs

it was police vs catholics and catholics fighting for our rights.

wer im from the police would go out 2 shoot catholics

  • no it was protestants vs convicts

  • dont talk shit ur not even from fucking ireland

  • please dont talk shit unless you know what I was exactly talking about. Your reply reminds me of how a crack addict would respond to a comment. I was talking about the game you idiot, not Irish politics.

  • how the fuck is that true

what du u mean by convicts

    people fighting for their rights

    how are they convicts?

it WAS the caatholica such as I.R.A

versus the British army and The R.U.C

  • Jesus youre so sensitive! Take a chill pill.

  • no you wernt

how wer you talking about the game if you replied to :

it wasnt prodestant vs catholics ffs

it was police vs catholics and catholics fighting for our rights.

wer im from the police would go out 2 shoot catholics

    ?????

  • oh I see...The Irish are either plain dumb stupid or just dont have a sense of humor. Let me spell it out for you silly person.

International Rules Game on You Tube video?- you see see?

    Ireland-Protestants VS

    Australia-convicts

    Do YoU UnDeRsTaNd ABC?

  • you dont think calling an entire nation "plain dumb stupid" or lacking a sence of humour is smart? you slag off an entire nation of people from some you tube comments you saw

  • I don't think its smart...it just human nature to do so on you tube. I can call the Irish dumb if I want to whether someone likes it or not. Its an opinion on you tube.

  • yes you could call the irish dumb. but if the majority of australians originate from the dregs of ireland's society, what would that make the aussies?

  • dumb convicts

  • fuck u

  • ...up the ass

  • nicely put.......

and all the aussie team is, is a bunch of rejects from the fighting clubs........

  • so other peoples comments are "just plain stupid", but yours are just your opinion and human nature. Do you not think everyones comments are all human nature in that respect so?

  • No, its just human natures as in everyday people (not just myself) can disagree and ridicule others based on their opinion. I never said other peoples comments are stupid...just 'Oisinericjayats' and No, its plain stupid depending on what the other person has to say in response to yours. No I don't think its human nature to respect other peoples comments because its you tube.

  • your all faggits and im cool

  • lol

  • get the fuckin music out maybe?

  • its gas how a bunch of amateurs go out for a holiday in Australia, mainly drinking, start playing a bit of Aussie rules for two weeks and then take on Australias best Professional players and beat them at every aspect of their own game. AUstralia are just shit nuff said. Proud Irish!

  • Hear hear!! Couldn't put it better myself

  • lol u summed it up bud

i bet the aussies like never went out on a night aswell if everyone was as funny as the irish the world would be insain

  • so true...lmao

  • theres test 2 irish highlights

  • I serzly think da rule changes werent fair and favored the irish!!!By the way im Irish!!

  • yeh i think the rules made it more boring and onsided although they turned out to be good games

  • I asked you twice whats your nationality and you have twice refused to say. Dont critisize another tribe when you are to chicken shit to say what tribe you come from.

  • I would love it if more protestants played Gaelic football in County Derry. We would then have a much better chance of winning an other All-Ireland

  • You would love it if a few more Protestant would play PADDYBALL, then that would bring it up to four, and three of them would probably be from mixed marriages.I suppose you still hate the MUSLIMS, what the chances for then playing your PADDYBALL, not good if you have anything to do with it.Tolerate a few PRODS , but FUCK--- hell , pushing the boundaries out a bit, letting MUSLIMS play. Keep the good work up you doing one hell of a job in convincing anyone other than Irish Catholics to play.

  • You sure are a smart chap. Conveniently ignore my comments to pursue your own sectarian agenda. Are you saying I'm not a self respecting Protestant? And why should a Protestant not support the GAA because of its links with Nationalism? Is it illegal for a Protestant to be a Nationalist? I'm a Protestant and a proud Nationalist. I presume you will ignore this comment too, but thats your problem and not mine.

  • thunderfinger2--You claim to be from the Protestant community , and support the GAA. you certainly {if true}are one rare specimen. It could be said of you that you are a self hating Protestant, for some reason or other, who knows why you have gone aganist the grain and embraced a culture that would if it could wipe your own culture of the face of the earth . One of the main aims of the founding fathers of the GAA was to destroy so called Protestant Culture, namely Garrison Games.

  • There is so much drivel in that comment I just couldn't be bothered addressing it all.

But you seem to be missing my point. In the Republic, your religion is, I would say completely irrelevant when it comes to playing GAA. If you read my comments, you will see that I said I know of many Protestants playing Gaelic, so it most definitely is not going against the grain. Your problem is that you cant accept that Protestants might not feel Unionist urgings.

  • And the aims of the founding fathers was to combat the growth of English games, to contribute to the process of the de-Anglicisation of Ireland. Once again you are calling English games "Protestant games" which is simply wrong.

  • No matter what you call the games Protestant , or English , or Protestant English, the founding father only aim was to deprive the Irish people of the right to participate in whatever games of their choice.. The GAA set out to demonise everything English , and British. Catholics encouraged to only play the now contrived games or Gaelic Games , as they are now known .The Catholic church , played their part by making Gaelic Games ,the official games of the vast majority of Catholic schools.

  • no hes not cuz my mother's freind who lives beside us shes from england has lived over here for a few years and is mad about gaelic football and supports her county.i dont know why protestants try to put down gaa theres no need to do you see us puting down soccer, rugby, cricket ect so just stop with the rascit BULLSHIT its people like you who i hate the nazis kkk ect. get a life you sad cunt cuz everything you have said is bullshit.your jealous cuz you have no pride or culture. quit hateing.

  • LINK10304-- why do the Protestant community put down the GAA . I do not beleive for one second that you are that naive. The GAA has been in existence for approx one hundred years, and the numbers of Protestant community playing Gaelic Games is miniscule. Surely by now the penny has dropped, and you have worked out why. No self respecting Protestant would want to join a organization that has for these past hundred years , (amongst many things) demonised the games of Rugby, Football , Cricket.

  • What a bigoted idiot you are - I come from a part of Ireland where there are many Protestants - We all get on very well and some of the local Protestants play Gaelic football - never was an trouble. If you look for it you`ll get it - as you are intent on doing.

  • Haha..... you are a twisted, bitter little shit alright - soccer will never come close to hurling or Gaelic football for class and skill either so keep dreaming.

  • orbandscptre27-- Football, soccer , beautiful game, will never come close to STICKFIGHTING,or PADDYBALL. Are you for real, the beautiful game is played the world over, it is the only true global game. It is the fastest growing game in CHINA, S. AFRICA, and even in Australia , where RUGBY LEAUGE, UNION, and AUSSIE RULES, ruled for decades. Have you truthfully never asked yourself , if PADDYBALL /STICKFIGHTING, were such wonderful games, why is it that only the CATHOLIC Irish, play it. THINK man

  • Well I`m sure if we had an army barracks in every second country around the world there would be "Paddyball" and "Stickfighting" heroes from all over. It`s a shame that soccer has such mass appeal as it is a completely inferior game to our native sports, especially hurling - the fastest and most skillful field sport on the planet.

  • orbandsceptre--you are a prat, no valid response to my pointing out the fact that Paddyball and Stickfighting, have absolutely no appeal to anyone on the planet, other than to Irish Catholics, who are virtually forced and indoctrinated into the playing these horrible games, in the vast majority of Catholic schools. Irish people have immigrated to the four corners of the world, and formed GAA clubs, but no one in any of their adopted countries ever took their silly contrived games up .Hard Fact.

  • I`ve never been forced to play either of them. Played Gealic football by choice and love hurling from the heart (I wish I had been taught to play hurling from an early age, as you must to become proficient with this highly skilled game). You`re a rascist idiot and a disgrace to your own people, plain and simple.

  • orbandsceptre27-- You must have went to one of the very , very very , few Catholic schools in Ireland , that allowed choice when it came to Sports. Its a fact that, just like you were indoctrinated into your religion , which happens to be Catholic , and which you had absolutely no choice , the same is true with the sports you play. These are hard facts that probably you never really thought much about. That is why it called Indoctrination.

  • Haha..... when you have an IQ of over 140 come back and talk you fool. If you`re a brainwashed Protestant that`s you`re problem. Me..... I couldn`t care less if someone was black, white, Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic or Protestant. It`s small minded hicks like yourself that give your own people a bad name lol - The vast majority of you are pretty sound.

  • orbandsptre27--cannot understand your childish out burst, and calling me a Protestant, what that all about. I have stated a few fact , and you fly off the rails about Protestant etc. Sure Protestant are Indoctrinated, all religion is indoctornation, it not rocket science. If your parents had of brought you up to worship the moon , fecking hell man you would have been on your knees already a couple of times this week as their was a full moon twice this week already. Who said I was Protestant.

  • Did I call you Protestant you silly man? ..... you`re a cowardly rascist who won`t say what he is - I advise you not to talk about rocket science as it`s clearly something well out of your league.

  • orbandsceptr27 -- You call me a cowardly racist ,simply because I point out facts, about the GAA, that you would prefer were not in the public domain. You would rather that everyone bought the nonsense that the GAA ,was simply a sporting body. The GAA has a very sinister side to it, an slowly but surely it being made known to a wider world, thanks to the INTERNET.

  • You simply gave your twisted opinions and refer to them as facts! Funny how it`s when we`ve won the series we get ugly people like yourself spreading their ridiculous comments - The GAA helped Catholics who were being burnt out of their homes and gave them a sense of pride and purpose - there was a war going on, or did you miss it?

  • orband--I have never made any comments that would not stand up to scrutiny. Even you have now conceded that the GAA was involved in the troubles , in that they sided with the Catholics, and helped them when they came under attack and burnt out of their homes. Your comments prove what most Protestant have always known. Yet when I point out similar facts you cannot take it and revert to name calling and abuse. The GAA , is simply a Catholic Organization for a Irish Catholic people. FACT.

  • You`re a racist - fact, Protestants where I`m from, have always played GAA - it was never an issue. You`re an attention seeking scumbag who is well able to vilify the association and "Paddyballers" yet you aren`t man enough to say where you`re from and what your background is - why is that I wonder............. because you`re a coward who will attack others identities while keeping your own hidden. A big mouth with no balls - end of!

  • By the way, why do you think I care what you believe to be a valid responce? - you`re clearly a racist scumbag!

  • obandsceptre27-- I personally could not give two dimms about your politically correct nonsense. Nonetheless , I cannot understand why you label me a racist, as I have made no racist comments. That not to say that if I felt like calling the spade the spade I would. No matter what you think , let me put you wise to the so called politically correct brigade nonsense, it plain and simple, just another form of controol over people.

  • I apologize if i offended anyone with my remarks concerning muslims. I shouldnt have made those comments

  • usually its aussies and irsh firing h8 comments at each other and now all of a sudden you brought muslims into this....wat do they hav to do wt it

  • There are thousands of protestants playing gaelic games in the south. Sadly the vast majority of protestants living in the North seem to be living 300 years in the past and seem to have a hatred of anything irish.

I dont particularly like muslims but i dont hate them. In fact I am not even catholic. The Fact that i mentioned sam maguire was that the most famous cup in Irish sporting history was named after him. If modern day gaa fans were anti protestant, surley they would change the cup

  • bapfontei-- It is obvious that you do not like Gaelic Games , and particularly the compromise rules series. So why do you spend so much of your energy on bad mouthing it. I am a devoted GAA supporter , club man , former player , and my family is steeped in the GAA. To be blunt with you , I could not give two FU--S if not one Protestant played the game, in fact, one to me and most GAA people would be one to many. We are what we are , get over it. I dont rant on about your Orange Order -F--- off

  • spakman ur talking shite. For many gaa clubs protestants would be very welcome. Irish culture for every one on the island no matter what religon. (Except muslims)

  • Tullyrowan-- (Except Muslims) why no Muslims, I and you know perfectly well why no Prods. What did the MUSLIMS ever do to you . Don't try and wash away what you are now on record of posting. Explain your hatred of Muslims. There is probably a couple of Muslims somewhere in IRELAND, playing our Gaelic Games , and that probably a couple more than their is PRODS, and you want rid of them. I have played Gaelic Games , all my life and have never ever once knew of a PROD , playing our games.

  • Sam Maguire was a prod as you call it. There are loads of protestants playing gaelic football. The guy with the bleached hair that plays for dublin is a protestant. There are a few protestant kids playin for clubs in south derry. When I played gaelic for glasgow uni where we won the scottish sevens our goalkeeper was a massive ranges fan, in fact he often played with his rangers shorts on. I dont like muslims simple as that

  • tullyrowan--Sammy Maguire lived a hundred years ago ,that how far you have to go back in history to find someone with a genuine Protestant background who belonged to the GAA. There are a few Protestant kids in S.Derry who play Gaelic games. A few, out of a possible 30 to 40 thousand , well that something. Certainly making inroads in S. Derry. In another hundred years GAA will boast that 10 Protestant kids are now playing GAA. In A 100 years further on they will be able to field a full team.

  • gaelic is not a sectarien sport you retard there are plenty of protestants that play...theres one on my team and there has never been a problem we just play the game....im thinkin ur just jealous cause you were never asked to play haha

  • hill6tala-- No self respecting Scotch Protestant would ever have anything even remotely to do with the sectarian bigots of the GAA. The only Protestant who played it , had to give it up as he could no longer tolerate the anti Protestant abuse both from other teams they played and their supporters. He even was verbally abused by some players and club members of his own team. I suppose you will verbally abuse me once again for highlighting these facts.

  • explain to me how you can call anyone sad when you have spnt the past couple of days writing useless and pregadist marks about a counrtys loved sport, so please if you are to keep on making sly remarks on people culture please do it on your own country!

  • derek4711-- It is quite obvious why you have targeted me ,it is simply because I have dared to point out facts about the sectarian nature of the GAA. There is nothing racist, or anything anti Irish , in my comments, just plain facts. You and other cannot argue with the facts , so you attack me personally, with all types of abuse. Check out any of the videos on YouTube as regards the INTERNATIONAL FOOLS SERIES, and you will find all sorts of abuse , racist etc, on both sides . Why Me?.

  • And by the way I hope you are pointing out as well the sectarian nature of the orange order and the Irish football association

  • Every year a selection of irish hurlers play a selection of Scotish shinty players(probably all scotch protestants) in a game of international rules. Could you please f off you sectarian bigot. In future before trying to get into a debate research what you are going to be discussing first. If you dont you will end up looking stupid and guess what? You look fucking stupid!!!

  • I think you will find there is more than one protestant playing gaelic games in the North. The guy you are refering to in Fermanagh is once again playin his beloved hurling.

Although it was wrong to target him, he wasnt targeted due to his religion it was due to his family links to the sectarian UDR. A state paramilitary group involved in the killings of innocent protestants and catholics.

As to being racist you refer to Gaelic football as Paddy Ball. Paddy is an interntional racist slag

  • I can only laugh at the pathetic paradox of a cultureless and landless planter using words such as sectarian, bigotry and anti-anything, while amazingly attacking another peoples culture and history. Sad, very sad.

  • Itmichejohn-- Agree with you totally , there is no need for anyone to attack the Muslims , how would tullrowan like if someone posted anti Catholic hatred ,I bet he would get rather annoyed , but he has no problem registering his anti Muslim hatred.

  • Im not the one attacking muslims, i just said i dont like them. The armies of BRITAIN, America and Israel are the ones attacking muslims!! But I guess bapfontenin is a supporter of these armies. Bapfontein once again you have proved you know nothing bout the gaa or its history. Maybe you should go to an Ireland v Scotland international rules game. You were one earlier spouting that scotch protestants wouldnt touch gaa with a 40ft stick and yet here they are playing an international tournament

  • And what have you been posting for the past week??? I dont know what your physiological diagnosis is but you need yourself help. Otherwise, when you have nothing but mindless rants and rubbish to contribute, there is any number of pathetic loyalist thug websites where you'll be well received, and can all congratulate yourselves on your amazingly well thought-out and constructed arguments!!!!! Look up Willie Frazer.

  • itsmichaejohn- There you go again , attacking the messenger, for no other reason, than I dare point out glaring facts about the GAA and what it stands for. If you trawl through the comments made on the many videos posted on YouTube, as regards Gaelic Games/International Fools Series, you will find hundred of bigoted and racist comments, similar to Tullyrowan anti Muslim hatred post. Yet you pick on some hard factual comments by myself, that you would rather others weren't made aware of,WHY?

  • There are no hard factual comments made by you. I claimed there were a few protestant kid playing gaelic football in south Derry and you replied with the most stupid and uneducated statement that a few out of a possible 30 to 40 thousand, well that said something. Let me remind you that South Derry is a vastly Nationalist/ Republican area.

  • 4. And I have saved the very best for last. I am a Protestant and have played Gaelic Football since the age of seven. If this doesn't give me the right to tell you that you're a misinformed idiot then what does? I have never had even the slightest hint of Sectarianism directed towards me even though my religion is no secret. Whatsmore many of my Protestant cousins play GAA and they will tell you the same thing. Simply put, I am living evidence that you are wrong.

  • You are very, very ignorant and misinformed. Perhaps these facts could help to clear up your stupidity.

    1. Edward Carson, the greatest figure of Unionism, played Hurling.

    2. Trinity College Dublin had the countrys first University Gaelic team at a time when only Protestants attended it.

    3. Jack Boothman is widely recognised as one of the GAA's greatest ever Presidents after he held office during the 90's. Yes, you've guessed it! He was a Protestant.

  • Tullrowan, thanks for the sectarian headcount. you know perfectly well what I meant when I quoted figures of approx 20 to 30 thousand Protestants. I meant the Protestant people as a group, of men , women and children. There is probably more or less am not sure. But it does not take away from the fact that no PROTESTANT , with any self respect, would play Gaelic Games , due to the sectarian nature of the GAA, and it support for violent Irish Nationalism. Facts that you cannot deny to eternity.

  • FACTS!?!?! Nothing but a cut and paste from the same sad and pathetic loyalist thug hate sites, as if anyone take them or you seriously. And then you accuse others of bigotry and sectarianism!!!! Whats that kettle? Black is it!! You are a joke.

  • WHAT SPORT, a game that is dubbed the INTERNATIONL FOOLS SERIES. The Catholic priest loving sectarian game, called PADDYBALL has been created over a hundred years , and yet not one other nation on the planet , which consist of billions ,would touch the game with a shitty forty foot stick. So desperate for International recognition that they came up with a total mi's mash of a game , then try and peddle as a InternAtional game. Sadly the Aussies facilitate these Priest ridden sectarian bigots.

  • The international rules was actually a concept of an Australian broadcaster called Harry Beitzel. He organized the first tour where the Aussies came to Ireland to play the County Meath Team. At least we have a culture and didnt run off to America to become Hill Billys
