Gospel just means Good News and the news they shared was that their lives, though filled with things others consider good and right or acceptable, were meaningless and for naught until they met Christ and began living for Him & His glory. Perhaps it's not your preferred style, but it's certainly "a clear cut gospel message"

I get it but we need to realise that If Good news be the focus it needs to be evident. The fact we're having to defend artists shows an element of controversy and it should be avoided. it says in Phillipians 2:15 "so that no one can criticise u. Live blameless". We're having to defend some of these guys too much. If ministers like Dwayne Tryumf, Radient, Jahaziel and Karl Nova are able to present their testimony and still make the 'good news' clearly evident then why can't some of these guys.
