  • @haxoi84 So when I go down I'm not supposed to "spring" back up? I should go down, stop and then come back the the start position?

  • do you still hit the hamstrings with this exercise?

  • My shoulders also hurt the next day if i use the cross armed grip and I was only using 135 pounds. I can't use the olympic grip because i have really bad biceps flexibility. Is the shoulder bruising avoidable?

  • Very cool stuff Will thanks!!

  • @haxoi84

    Thanx!

  • what is the benefit of front squat compare to normal squat?

  • @Lee7676

Front squats are more quad dominant then back squats as a rule. Mixing up squat types is essential for long term progress on strength and or development.

  • hi will,

thanks for sharing your knowledge. I appreciate it a lot when experts such as yourself share so much of their knowledge.

  • thanks for the video Will. I have been trying these and find my wrist start bothering me.

  • rhymeskill, not all the grips work for all people, which is why there are variations. Also see the vid The Brink Front squat for another variation. Would have to see you doing the grip to see what the issue is, but if you found one grip that works, stick to that and don't worry about the grip that bothers your shoulders. Good luck.

  • i only do the 2 version, the first grip feels uncomfortable to me

  • It seems like the 2nd version murders my shoulders. Am I sitting the bar on the wrong spot?

  • Come on will, gimmie all that front squat money baby.

    Sh0t/Tim

  • Very sound and concrete information
