did u not have a shunt put in the baby when he was born? my son had a meningocele at birth and developed hydrocephalus after the removal of the meningocele and now has a VP shunt to drain the fluid

My fiance and I both have Hydrocephalus as well! He was premature, and is now 28. I was born with Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus as a result of that. I am now 25. We are planning our wedding on 6.21.08 - hence my username! I wish you and your precious baby many blessings!

I also was born with this. I suffered alot of abuse as a teen because of it. Fortunately I am a big guy as it is. However i am married to a beautiful woman and have three normal boys who are all over 18. Feel free to contact me, I am an expert on the emotional side of this. Im was blessed with an abundant amount of loving friends and family in my native nashville, it was not until we moved to Miami that abuse from other kids began.

Hi, we are planning on adopting two sisters with the condition, The oldest was not expected to live more than a few days and is a miracle girl. I am so sorry that you suffered such abuse as a teen. I myself was picked on and beat up for the silliest things when I was younger. I was even knocked out my one girl and another grabbed my neck and shook me until I passed out.
