Stating the the AH64D is in all ways slower and has less engine power does not in anyway make it secondary to the KA50/52, the AH64D has a lower RADAR profile, better armour, and has weapon systems the far outclass the KA50, and weapon targeting, destructive power and range is what determines how good an attack helicopter is, NOT the speed. Both are able to laser lock a target from 8km and transfer/link data with other forces. Both have machine gun cannon. Both have rockets. That pretty much covers basic combat which makes the helicopters quite equal with each other. These are considered the best attack helictopers right now and their really close.
My guess is the electronics on the Apache is far superior as well the ability of it to link with the rest of the force. It's also not always about raw numbers. My guess is that American pilots are better trained across the board and that the Russian helicopter is likely not as safe for the pilot or properly maintained. Let's hope the US and Russia never have the chance to test these theories.

The author says this is the Apache is a piece of shit. Well, I think these two choppers are really close. The author does give real facts so I'll take it that Ka-50 has a bigger punch. Though since it's a single pilot, it will have less control of flight and combat compared to the apache. I think in the end, it's what the pilots do and how the situation is. A good comparison would be the Ka-52 vs AH64. The Ka-52 is a 2 seater where the KA-50 is a 1 seater. Anyways, both countries are impressive

Your basing your whole argument of the engines... What about the battle systems I dont know the systems too well in both helicopters but I would venture a guess that it may change the outcome. Just because the AH-64 may be slower if it can lock on and destroy targets from farther away and kill things with out ever getting targeted then speed and power dont mean as much.

Russia's military is in need of huge re-organisation and in terms of military hardware the US are years ahead. The economy of the US is 12/13 times larger than that of Russia. The comparison of these two countries is no longer relavant in my opinion.
sure, the ka50 is faster but using max takeoff weight as a criteria is a bit dishonest, max takeoff does not determine how much you can carry, what you are looking for is useful load. For the ka50 its max takeoff is 10800kg, and its empty weight is 7700kg, so its useful load is 3100 kg. For the apache, its max takeoff is 10433 kg and its empty weight is 5165 kg. So its useful load is actually quite a bit higher at 5268 kg. Good video, but try a more honest, less pre-concluded approach next time.

They attempted to design it for good frontal RCS, but having not developed digital optics processing for their IRST, they made it a nice big radar reflective ball, complete with dihedral corner reflector at the front where it meets the nose cone.

We have the most advanced airforce in the world. Compare it to the Russian AF (second best in the world) which has merely 700 4th generation fighters. The rest of their AF is 3rd generation Su-24's and 25's ... many not even being fitted with radar. Russia has around 20 awacs and 20 refuelling tankers.
We have 3000 4th gen fighters, 500 4.5th gen and 180 5th gen. 120 AWACS and 240 tankers ... do the math.

Our F-35's will be able to carry 32 :) 6 times more.

The author says this is the Apache is a piece of shit. Well, I think these two choppers are really close. The author does give real facts so I'll take it that Ka-50 has a bigger punch. Though since it's a single pilot, it will have less control of flight and combat compared to the apache. I think in the end, it's what the pilots do and how the situation is. A good comparison would be the Ka-52 vs AH64. The Ka-52 is a 2 seater where the KA-50 is a 1 seater. Anyways, both countries are impressive

Don't forget, there are different versions of the Apache and I think that the Apache still has one of the best, if not, the best weapons system on board.
Also, it isn't how fast it can fly or howmuch payload it can carry it is about how good it flies, how accurate it is, and how easy it can be hidden.

Your basing your whole argument of the engines... What about the battle systems I dont know the systems too well in both helicopters but I would venture a guess that it may change the outcome. Just because the AH-64 may be slower if it can lock on and destroy targets from farther away and kill things with out ever getting targeted then speed and power dont mean as much.

sure, the ka50 is faster but using max takeoff weight as a criteria is a bit dishonest, max takeoff does not determine how much you can carry, what you are looking for is useful load. For the ka50 its max takeoff is 10800kg, and its empty weight is 7700kg, so its useful load is 3100 kg. For the apache, its max takeoff is 10433 kg and its empty weight is 5165 kg. So its useful load is actually quite a bit higher at 5268 kg. Good video, but try a more honest, less pre-concluded approach next time.

No its based off a flanker. Its not a VLO aircraft. Russia have not put the money into certain technologies so the PAK FA is one big mess of contradictions.
They attempted to design it for good frontal RCS, but having not developed digital optics processing for their IRST, they made it a nice big radar reflective ball, complete with dihedral corner reflector at the front where it meets the nose cone.

@GENERAL1002 They reduced the size of the vertical stabilizers by making them all moving, but then they introduced numerous corner reflectors under the aircraft (lazily concealed by an IR missile shroud).
They also never bothered to conceal the exhaust nozzles from the side aspect, making them a nice big fat radar reflector.
No shit, the PAK is not even as stealthy as the superhornet.... the superbug at least has sawtoothed panel joints.

We have the most advanced airforce in the world. Compare it to the Russian AF (second best in the world) which has merely 700 4th generation fighters. The rest of their AF is 3rd generation Su-24's and 25's ... many not even being fitted with radar. Russia has around 20 awacs and 20 refuelling tankers.
We have 3000 4th gen fighters, 500 4.5th gen and 180 5th gen. 120 AWACS and 240 tankers ... do the math.

Did you know russian jets can't attack moving targets on the ground in cloudy weather? Russian flankers can only carry a maximum of 6 guided standoff weapons at a time.
Our f-15E's can launch 28 (yes almost 5 times more than the maximum flanker load) weapons simultaneously from 80miles at 28 moving targets in ANY weather.
Our F-35's will be able to carry 32 :) 6 times more.
