Most of the time 50-100 are killed in 2 hours. Remember, this is not hunting; it is an all out war against an invasive and vastly overpopulated species.

It is only legal if you own your own land and get an LOA signed with a helicopter company that is permitted by the Texas Parks and Wildlife to perform these eradication flights. I've came across a couple articles that are already protesting the bill and painting Texan hunters as reckless irresponsible rednecks but other than that there's really not to much info on it. @Mongo63a The speaker is a siren. Nueces Helicopters also gathers cattle from the air for ranchers with hundreds of thousands of acres in south texas. Much quicker and cheaper than having a group of cowboys go out as it would take them a couple of days to get done what can be accomplished in a matter of hours from a chopper.
