Thanks Steve, I installed a 4kw system last summer and was surprised that it averaged 3kw - 3.2 at best. I worked with the numbers to try to understand but your math helps alot.

#1 your panels are flat. that takes away possable power output! #2 you dont track the sun so you lose 10-50% of what you can harvest! #3 if you had 2 diff inverters or charge controllers ( one for each string) you might get more output! Dont get me wrong you have a sweet system, but It could be improved upon! Joe

@toobroke2fight Get some mirrors to redirect photons to PV cells. You can get used cheap mirrors at thrift stores. or even get lenses to focus ambient photons.
