The term "legend" has always been thrown around a lot in music. I have seen more than one person billed as a legend, who did not measure up. But about 9 or 10 years ago (how time flies!) Jimmy Cliff came to my city to perform. It was a great show and as soon as he came on stage I (and hopefully everyone else in the audience) knew we were in the presence of a real legend.
