You can put the most detailed car model in the world on the Blu-Ray disc, but they do you no good if they don't fit onto the PS3/X360's 512MB RAM. Most PS3 exclusive games hardly use more than 6gb of data. The ones that do use more than the 9GB of DVD are filled with HD video not gameplay. I'm done waiting on GT5. Bullshit it's going to be perfect, interiors for only 400 cars?

The issue I have with comparison videos like this is GT5 isnt out yet and by now everyone should know Sony's pre release videos always look better than the retail game. I have no doubt GT5 will look better than Forza 3, its been in development forever so they have been able to pile the detail on like crazy but lets wait for release before we really compare.
Also when comparing two HD games it would be wise to film an HD video. You lose lots of detail in SD.

I think the physics in forza is a little bit like gtr evo And GT 5 has 100 % better physics than forza my brother has a xbox and i have a PS 3 and i have tested the 2 games and i think gt5 has a little bit more strange physics than forza
but in my opinion, (yes is my opinion and I do not want to start a fight about it) forza has better physics, in fact this is the only reason that i like it.
And yes, telhacerta is right, gt5 isnt out yet, and I think that polyphony is doing well not to rush to get a half game, as in the case of forza where most of the interior views are not completed.

As a previous GT owner (I had all 4 and loved them) and full Forza series owner (i've got all 3) I must say I'm VERY impressed with the physics of Forza 3 and I like the xbox controller MUCH better than the PS - especially for driving.
That said, the graphics in GT5 are immaculate, they look incredible. Forza has great graphics - but they're much brighter and more visually appealing than in real life, almost cartooney when compared with GT I feel like...

Forza 3 will never beat GT5. Gran Tursimo is the mother of racing games. The graphics and driving physics will be way more realistic than Forza. The original is always better.

I love both games! :) Some car models looked a bit off in Forza 2 but customization is really good! Better than GT at least. However driving wise I've always felt GT had more feel/weight to the cars like they're more connected to the road. Sometimes cars in Forza 2 can feel abit floaty. GT skimps on engine noise however, gotta hand it to Forza on that front!
the one thing the guys at GT have done in their replays is make you feel the dynamics of in the heat of the battle replays. Forza 3 is getting there nonetheless.

Ive played FM2, and I can careless about riced up cars on FM2 people sell. I mean really, who needs a 900hp ford gt with a unicorn on the hood. GT4 had tons of Drift ready cars from D1. I always felt that the gameplay was floaty and sluggish compared to GT4 and GT5P.

Forza has way more cars, tracks, and gameplay. Face it guys, you can customise your whole car into every single detail, engine and outside. This makes Forza 3 the absolute winner. The only thing u can do with GT5 is drive around tracks with 200 cars. Forza has better gameplay Offline and ONline!

I think a comparison between these 2 games cannot be made yet since that GT5 Prologue is out and people have had a taster of what is to come, Forza 3 isn't out yet so the comaprison can hardly be made. There is a video on here about a comparison beteen GT5 and Forza 2, which is now blatently unfair. Yes GT5 has more cars and classes such as WRC and NASCAR, but IMO Forza 3 looks more visually amazing, with more colour. Its a toughy since i had all the GT's up until i sold my PS2..i'd get both! :P
The difference between GT5 vs forza 3 engine visual is GT5 will have the model of engine on each car.You can even see the Turbo on the blitz ER34, and the fan on the Tuscan. You can see a lot of engine parts when the car is very close.

Forza 3 will never beat GT5. Gran Tursimo is the mother of racing games. The graphics and driving physics will be way more realistic than Forza. The original is always better.

Forza may be the imitation, but it's the damned closest thing to GT you can get. I love both games, so I'll tell you right now this isn't hate in anyway shape of form. I'm really liking the visuals of GT, but I feel that some of the stuff GT5 has makes it a bloated deal compared to Forza. However, I'm really interested in the outcome of both games as I'm investing money in a PS3 for GT5.

This video is a crap comparison. The footage shown to represent gt5 aren't ingame, there's purposely made for the media to look good. Most of the FM3 footages are ingame graphics. YOU CAN'T COMPARE A GAME TO A MOVIE, besides that GT5 does look pretty good. I own FM and FM2 planning to buy FM3.

I like gt and forza. The problem is, I can't afford a PS3, right now. All I have is a 360 so Forza 3 will be hayday for me.

I love both games! :) Some car models looked a bit off in Forza 2 but customization is really good! Better than GT at least. However driving wise I've always felt GT had more feel/weight to the cars like they're more connected to the road. Sometimes cars in Forza 2 can feel abit floaty. GT skimps on engine noise however, gotta hand it to Forza on that front!

Ive played FM2, and I can careless about riced up cars on FM2 people sell. I mean really, who needs a 900hp ford gt with a unicorn on the hood. GT4 had tons of Drift ready cars from D1. I always felt that the gameplay was floaty and sluggish compared to GT4 and GT5P.

You GT fans don't see Forza beats it in almost every aspect; Let's see:
GT5 may have slightly (SLIGHTLY) better graphics, and thats pretty much it.
Forza has way more cars, tracks, and gameplay. Face it guys, you can customise your whole car into every single detail, engine and outside. This makes Forza 3 the absolute winner. The only thing u can do with GT5 is drive around tracks with 200 cars. Forza has better gameplay Offline and ONline!

I think a comparison between these 2 games cannot be made yet since that GT5 Prologue is out and people have had a taster of what is to come, Forza 3 isn't out yet so the comaprison can hardly be made. There is a video on here about a comparison beteen GT5 and Forza 2, which is now blatently unfair. Yes GT5 has more cars and classes such as WRC and NASCAR, but IMO Forza 3 looks more visually amazing, with more colour. Its a toughy since i had all the GT's up until i sold my PS2..i'd get both! :P

The difference between GT5 vs forza 3 engine visual is GT5 will have the model of engine on each car.You can even see the Turbo on the blitz ER34, and the fan on the Tuscan. You can see a lot of engine parts when the car is very close.
