Check out the book "The Taking of America" its free online.The author was the lead counsel for the HSCA investigation until the CIA took over and had him fired.He claims Howard Hunt was involved in the Ted Kennnedy chappiquidick incident and that the CIA staged the accident to prevent him from ever becoming President.

After Hunt's arrest the FBI obtained the contents of Hunt's personal safe.Nixon told FBI director Patrick Gray that the documents were "Political Dynamite" and should never see the light of day.

Gray took the documents home and burned them in his fireplace.

The Watergate burglars were looking for evidence concerning the JFK murder.That's why it was never investigated, it would have uncovered who really killed JFK.

@themeaningoflife38 ---that's a new theory. Doesnt make a whole lot of sense. It was a simple minor act of espionage that goes on in politics regularly (buggings, etc). Amazing that this 3d rate burglary brought down a Presdient that was re-elected in 2d biggest landslide in US history. Only connection to JFK is that Howard Hunt was present at the scene of the assassination, but disguised as a bum.

@loyaldude10 Listen to the Nixon Tapes.When Nixon talks about Watergate he is worried that "The Cubans and The Texans" will uncover "The whole bay of pigs thing".He also says that "Hunt knows too much".

That's why Watergate was never investigated.

@loyaldude10 Except for Liddy all the other burglars were members of Brigade 2506.Hunt was heavily involved with the anti castro cubans and the bay of pigs invasion.In photos of the crowd in Dealey Plaza there several members of Brigade 2506 and cia's JMWAVE station.Many beleive they were there to support the assassination of JFK.Google search "Familiar Faces in Dealey Plaza"
