I'm sorry, I didnt elaborate enough. I meant, by "emo" that Elton looked unhappy during that period in his life (and he was if you read a bio. of him). I love this song, it's one of my favorites. And I'm sorry I used the phrase "emo". Besides, "emo" doesn't have to be used in its everyday context. It CAN mean what it really means: emotional.

Or "emotionally unstable" if you're the "emo" type of person who has awful hair and sulks 24/7.
