Jaguars new GEN III Engine is built from the ground up. The only thing it shares from the old is the fixing bolts. And the rubber busches on the bolts.
The Jaguar V8 is one of the MOST UNRELIABLE engines in the world . Put a FORD V8 in and it will have some reliability too. It`s also the least lasting engine . needs replacing very often . SAD
Ford owned Jaguar for about 18 years, before they were making the best cars in the world. Now they are making better cars. Ford didn't have enough money to pay their assets (Jaguar) So they sent them to a more generous company which helped them develop the 5.0 Litre Supercharged V8.
@fontheking you call them crap cause you can't afford any....But i do agree it is a waste of money...cause for the same amount of money i can by bmw m6 and apartment , and be = or even more happy

LOL I HAVE 91 Mustang, rebuilt engine less then 8K starts one crank all the time...LOL and will give that Jag a good run for its money!
