my brother drove the 47' which is this boat for station Manasquan in NJ they have to go to Oregon to train at a place called cape disappointment where the goal is to roll the boat over. bad ass stuff
Wow, that's some great boat handling skill. Can you see how he puts the throttle in reverse so the boat goes backwards into the wave which counter-acts the wave from pushing the boat over.
Im hoping to go into the coast guard academy when im older. Watching these videos fills me with a combination of pride and utter fear. Pride for the men and women who do that stuff on a daily basis and fear for the fact that it could very well be me one day :)
That's sexy! Some balls. I have guts like that and I'm a woman. Ok, Ok, not those kind of guts but I'm a tough one. Scary but awesome. Bad Ass these guys are!
some very big boats have gotten into plenty of trouble out there. been thru in a 26 footer a few times. never when its too rough though! turn around and wait it out when that happens.
hey i dont know if this is true or not, but i heard that you can switch branches and spend your remaining years of service in that branch if your a pilot, but you go down 1 in rank. does anybody know?
I went through the mouth of the Merrimack at Newburyport a few times this past summer where everyone on board was crying. Crying and throwing up. Now I pick my tides very carefully.
i live a few miles as the crow flies from the mouth of the merrimack. and i agree with those who say that slayershit would soil himself if he ever went out there when it got rough. the mouth of the merrimack is a great place to get yourself killed if you dont know what you are doing, in most boats. your best bet is a deep hull, and some planning.
your looking at waves on the east coast, talk is cheap, meet me in newburyport and i will take you through there in my boat on a rough day and watch you cry like a baby.if you think them waves look big see them in person, that video does not do justice to what them guys are really driving through.thank you to the USCG......
Went through that mouth again about a month ago in a 21' cc trying to get my lobsta traps in red flag hazardous conditions, I heard the coast guards warning not to transit the bar in less than a 37' vessel and turned off my radio, made it half way hit a 15 ft wave, almost flipped my boat backwards decided to wait for a better day, but it was a great experience.I wish slayer was with me that day i would of loved to hear him cry for his mommy....lol
Lived in Newburyport since age 3 lol. 978 areacode ftw :o

You have to write everything about the music in info and say that it belongs to WMG. Then sometimes they won't get rid of it.

I hope that was during the summer. I couldn't imagine having to go out like that in winter. You could freeze to death like that.
