  • this was the time when you're watchin wrestling and you dont know who to cheer coz there is so much talent...so much ATTITUDE

  • One of the best tag teams ever to grace any wrestling ring. There may not ever be a tag team like L.O.D.

  • Haha Michaels tryin all that bounce off the ropes to get Hawk off guard, and Hawk just kicks him and press slams him. Classic Hawk

  • I was wondering why they would give this match for free on RAW. Now I know.

  • what a rushhhh man all four of them where my favs man but lod was the best tag team out there

  • the LOD looked kinda lost at the beginning... but then they warmed up.. I agree.. a very lame ass ending.. but no doubt mean't to build up their upcoming match.

  • Funny at 9:39, the official trying to keep Austin from Michaels

  • That was shaping up 2 be a good Tag match, but then Shawn & Steve had 2 jumpOut & go hump each other some more.

  • What a lame ass way to end the match. The Road Warriors needed the belts at that time.

  • I remember watching this on RAW as a kid at my grandmas house xD

  • Chevy Chase.

  • The Legion of Doom where the best tag team of all time!!!

  • wow 4 future hall of famers wrestling on raw! awesome!

  • Wow wish I had of been there, sux that I wasn't!!! Great video!!!

  • still think Bret > Shawn, because the simple fact that the man behind the character of HBK was a total unforgiving asshole back in the day

  • saw this live

  • You idiots stop fighting!!!!

  • Hell, even the entrance music was better back then!

  • L.O.D. = Greatest tag team of all time. R.I.P. Hawk

  • hbk and austin it's shit... lol

  • a ring full of hall of famers

  • Some of the greatest wrestlers/entertainers in the history of WWF/WWE in this video. I so miss this era and the wrestlers that made it what it was: awesome. I believe the Attitude era set the bar too high because this current era (Cenation?) is not touching ANYTHING before it. I think WWE needs a rivalry; either TNA needs to step up its game or a whole new organization because, it is sad what WWF/WWE has become.

  • I bet Shawn Michaels, during his entrance, said "Man nobody involved in this match will ever be more popular than me" but little did HBK know what Stone Cold Steve Austin would proceed to do during the next 4 or 5 years.

  • @Budwiser221 hogan was already the most popular wrestler ever before shawn even became big

  • @Budwiser221 If Shawn was thinking anything of the sort, hopefully he heard the repeated "L-O-D" chants during the match. The Warriors were Hall Of Famers while their opponents were still Midnight Rockers and Hollywood Blonds.

  • It's amazing all the eras The Road Warriors covered. All the legends they performed with.

  • lmao 8:50 HBK doing his acrobatics

that is what we call a falcon punch

  • i wonder how things would have played out with shawn's/austin's title reign and their feud with the hart foundation if bret and shawn didnt fight (legitimately) backstage the week after this, which was behind shawn being out for a month

  • animal's dropkicks are amazing for a guy that big

  • hbk is better in wwf than wwe i think that

  • @amrmiro881 no doubt he was he wasnt as seriously injured as he had to come backfrom in the wwe he was never 100 percent again plus he wasnt scared to cheat, when he came back from becoming a born again christian he wasnt willing to cheat as often you kno low blows distracting the reg things like that and he wouldnt do the dx chop the way he did it originally.

  • Austin and Michaels were getting clobbered by the Legion. So Austin takes the easy way out - Fight with Michaels and get disqualified.

  • my favorite tag team against my favorite wrestler and HBK. beautiful.

  • L...O...D!!!

  • I love it when the unlikely partners win the tag team titles. I love the tag team titles!

  • @jmsvful: This was the first of Russo's "wacky tag partners who don't get along" angles.

@ROCKNINJA777: The 1994-1996 period, when the Clique was wreaking havoc, was a TERRIBLE time for WWE financially, since Big Shitty the Promotion Killer couldn't draw at all. There's a story that Diesel once asked Gerald Brisco why he was the lowest-paid WWF World Champion of all time. Brisco told him it was because he was the lowest drawing Champ of all time.

  • l.o.d were awesome!!!! chevy chase at 4:25 - amazing!

  • l.o.d were awesome!!!!

  • This was pretty cool. Just before Austin really caught fire. HBK and Austin were a great team. The ultimate odd couple but what a team they were.

  • Heart Broke Joke had zero crossover appeal, I doubt anyone besides wrestling fans even knows who he is. As far as WWE goes though he's in my top ten all time...

  • @JulesGunn Crossover appeal enough to get his own hunting show coming to a tv near you soon.

  • LOL

  • @EatMyShitYumy Tupac fans are ready for a boxing match with you ,name time and place.

  • fuck yea this is so awesome, 2 of the greatest singles stars in the history of wrestling vs one of the best tag teams of all time. epic. unbelievable.

  • at 3:04, austin's all "damn it"

  • I'd totally forgotten Michaels and Austin held the tag belts...

  • I had forgot about this match. Two of my all-time favorites...the Road Warriors and Stone Cold. Michaels...not so much.

  • shawn michaels is the best........

  • never knew HBK and Stone Cold were tag partners

  • I never realized how much Goldberg and Hawk acted like each other. Probably cause they're both beasts.

  • austin & HBK the funniest Tag team ever

  • HBK is great !

  • i miss mcmahon as commentary

  • @stay666metal I do too. Check out Angry Vince is God on youtube. You'll die laughing

  • They were sooo disorganized with their commercial breaks back in the day

  • HBK was so cool back in the day

  • what a bullshit team, Austin and Fagert beat up LOD.

    dROOLERS.

  • @082076 your fag bitch!

  • That was a good match till HBK and Austin started fighting each other...

  • Cool, National Lampoon's Vaction is up next!...

  • steinier? jericho is even better than steiner's heel but then again y2j can play heel or face 2 perfection

  • indeed y2j can do that he's awesome but with heels i prefer randy orton i mean legend killer that's awesome

  • What a powerslam by Animal! HBK was too big of a star at that point to take so much punishment in the match.

  • @Edgehead10075 Nah... the LOD is one of the biggest tag teams of all time... A good wrestler goes through punishment in matches...

  • Okay, but Austin seemed to hold his own.

  • @hartman8883 Exactly LOD 4eva!

  • Comment removed

  • scott steiner? for real?

  • going as legion of doom to a halloween party on saturday! the costumes look amazing... theyve taken a while to make but well worth it

  • The Legion of Doom remind me of Brothers of Destruction o.o

  • No, Brothers of Destruction remind you of the Legion of Doom.

  • Legion of Doom are the best on their peak days

  • no other wwe superstar compares to HBK back in those days. Shawn was at the top of his game in 96-97.

  • I think u forgot the year 1995. he won the Royal Rumble, He was in the main event of wrestlemania, he became IC-Champ in a great match 1 day before or after his birthday and he has had a great ladder match against razor ramon

  • I didn't forget that year. No doubt he was great then. He definitely did a lot in 1995. He was elevating as a performing in all three of those years, but 96 and 97 is when he was giving his best performances in my opinion.

He seemed to be a pain is everyone's butt in the locker room in 97 but in my opinion it worked wonders for his character.

  • shawn's still got it, but nothin compares to him back in these days

  • @Showstopper42 Bret Hart

  • @Showstopper42 ..Til the Rattlesnake took over 3:16 forever.

  • holy shit a televised event from hunington i can walk there

  • @Showstopper42 I agree, no one could compare to shawn in thtat era.

  • @Showstopper42 I agree, no one could compare to shawn in that era.

  • Comment removed

  • @Showstopper42 96-97 when the Bigger men left (Nash&Hall) the WWF it was his time to shine when Bigger men came back (Rock and Austin) 97-98 it was time to go......he did smart move.

  • @LVSWTZ hmm i feel even when nash was there shawn still shone, cos he had the wwe title in 96 wit nash still around and nash couldnt wrestle for shit, hall was great but never pushed to that extent....as for rock and austin, shawn could have held his own against anyone, and if they had been draw we'd have seen more classic matches. its a shame we neva saw hbk vs thhe people's champ tho

  • @el84oro When your a 7ft 300pound Stud and look like Nash did you don't need know shit about wrassiln BIGFOOT JACKKNIFE that's IT Hall was a waste too bad hbk is talented even gifted but too small. He would've done well. but would not been the Show Stopper he was The ROCK and Austin had were just as Gifted but WAAY Bigger with followings that were almost like Hulkamania and The Madness in there primes They took over the top spots within very short time Those two were the Attitude Generation

  • @LVSWTZ u do make very good points , but there were some big men who could still put on good matches, fans always liked sid, taker and kane have also had amazing matches, so i dnt think being big is a good excuse to execute only two moves, plus for that reason nash was the lowest drawing champion in wwf(e) history. thing wit shawn is he alwways knew how to steal the crowd in matches, and could wrestle a refrigerator and make it watchable, i still think he cud outperform neone in d ring

  • @el84oro " TRUE!....BUT! Sports Entertaiment it's NOT about performing it's about SELLING! hbk had a 1000 0000 times more athletic ability than Hogan or any other Big Big Man. But more people remember and talk about his Matches with Andre, Warrior and Savage than hbk's 60 minute Iron man match with Bret Hart. Little guys like shawn and bret ALLWAYS out perform the giants. But the BIG MEN Usually Sell. Vince McMann knows this cashes in on it...Nash had the strap for a YEAR hbk didn't.

  • coolness

  • Sweet. Shawn pulled guard on Austin with a Guillotine and used it to sweep him right to full mount.

  • LOD LOD LOD! ! !

  • RIP Hawk. LOD/Road Warriors greatest tag team of all time!

  • couldn't agree more with you the most beautiful part was that animal was still loyal to hawk and told that heidenreich and matt hardy whcih he teamed up with were screw ups and that only hawk was the true road warrior just like him I wonder if it would be the same if animal died instead of hawk I think so because they are like great friends LOD FOREVER<3

  • Agree 100%. Animal and Hawk were like brothers. Great chemistry.

  • I hope I'll meet such a friend of my age soon would be awesome:D

  • chevy chase!

  • how did hawk/animal die? one ov em n hw did the von erich bruvas die am sure 1 of em r alive??

  • actually, hawk died from heart attack

  • Man .. I never knew HBK and Austin are once tag team champions

  • I ment to say this before the REAL reason why HBK came back was because of Austin! Austin motivated HBK to come back and they both DID NOT like the heart's! Hbk saw Austin match at WM13 agianst Bret Hart! HBK liked the attitude era which is another reason why he came back during this time!

  • YOU DUM FUCK Im talking about the story line not in real life! I already knew that Austin had respect for the Hart's in real life! As for the storyline HBK didn't like the hart's too much Niether did Austin so they teamed up!

  • OHH SHIT mother fucker do u have anything better to fuckin do! HBK liked the attitude era BUT Austin was the main reason why the WWF took a turn! That's why I call Austin the king of the Attitude era! Now LEAVE me the fuck alone loser!

  • Yep yep, in fact, in real life, HBK tried like hell to hold SCSA back... it does suck for HBK tho that he was such a big reason for the WWE turning to the Attitude Era, and he didn't come back to competition until after it was over, that's gotta sting

  • Im glad somebody agree's with me! Yea as u can see Vince has no competition, so he feel's that he dosen't have to TRY anymore which is why the WWE rating's are dropping! WWF was the shit back then, NOW I have to go on the computer or watch dvd's TO SEE the old stuff VERY SAD :(!

  • wrestling was so exciting to watch at this time i use to love friday nights looked forwared to watching Wrestling.

  • Loved the way McMahon said "The Heartbreak Kid" while Shawn was walking down the ramp. xD

  • no way hbk and stone cold would they hold their own against a heel legion of doom

  • Chevy Chase!!!

  • lol i laughed hard when i saw him lol

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • Comment removed

  • I would Say HBK won that little scrap between him and Austin lol

  • The Legion of Doom, the only guys that could make Stone Cold Steve Austin, and HBK come out to a silent crowd. Hahaha, elite.

  • to be fair, this is when austin was still in the process of becoming the mega favorite that he is today

  • Is this before or after his King of the Ring victory? I remember the RAW after that PPV, and I remember everyone INSTANTLY liking him ALOT more from his Austin 3:16 speech. Everyone wanted Jake Roberts to win, then he lost and Austin spoke those words and he blew up.

Do you know if this is before or after? He's already in a program with Shawn Michaels here so I suspect it's after.

  • After. This is in 97. The AUSTIN 3:16 Speech was in 96.

  • well, at the time the announcers were putting Michaels over like the babyface coming back from injury...and tweener Austin as the malcontent. it was a great angle, nonetheless. sometimes, guys like LOD are just more over in particular parts of the country.

  • wwf was best between 1992-1998

then got good again in 2001-2004 1998-2001 WCW was my favourite never watched WWF when was gd wish did i was always outside playing like kids do.But when was 13 i got into WCW but WWF did'nt like this was in 1999.

  • This is very incoherent rambling... The WWE was best between 97-2003.. that was the rock v austin feuds.. that was the best time ever to be a wrestling fan

  • Its Stone Cold HBK Rock then the new world order hogan type people on my list.. can't top Stone Cold.. Can't top the dueling wrestlemanias between these two.. epic epic contests that hardly looked scripted.. two of the best to lace up them boots money wise performance wise entertainment wise.. they had it all.. they weren't limited

  • Comment removed

  • hbk, thru The Rockers & DX, always in collision with LOD

  • Cool match.

  • So weird hearing Stone Cold get next to no-sold. A far cry from when he helped Mankind win the WWF title to the biggest pop maybe ever.

  • LOD were the first anti heros no matter what they did always got babyface heat

  • THIS IS WHEN WRESTLING USED TO BE GOOD

  • l.o.d IS WAY TOO MUCH FOR STONE COLD AND HBK...

  • Classic!!

  • 04:25 baddest mutha fucker out

  • 00.56 baddest mutha fucker out

  • wow!

  • bad quality and bad sound quality im sorry

  • legion of doom will always be the best they worked so good together would have been great to see them against the brothers of destruction

  • I would love to have seen a dream match between the bros. of destruction against the L.O.D. both teams in their prime. I'd pick the L.O.D. but it'd be a close match-up.

  • Best Team Ever = Austin 3:16 & HBK

  • hahaha jdb22792 i thought u said watch the 3 16 minute of the match i was looking out for it .. and didnt see what you were talking about untill i just realised u meant austin 3 16 hahaha

  • classic michaels

  • all know lod will kill them in a fist fight

  • hell, rip davey boy, pillman, owen, and hawk, damn. This is classic

  • 8:47 is way over dramaticc

  • this is a great match for the tag team championship

  • u see them 2 fat bitches screaming like they had their first piece of fried chicken in 20 years

  • back then 97, wwe neeed ratings because wcw was killing them who was wcw biggest super star back then?

  • NWO, Nash, Hall, Hogan.

  • sting sting and definately sting an of course hogan, in face nwo in general, the whole concept was what wcw was thriving off

  • This is mid 97, HBK was the most popular guy in the WWE and they teamed Austin with HBK to help Austin get more popular with the fans and help him get into the main events.

  • yeah to rub some of Michaels popularity onto austin, but austin had some huge pops as well.

  • been lookin for this thanks

  • OMG MY MAN AUSTIN AROUND 3:30 HE SAW Hbk getting owned and he was like fuck that! He came in and all hell broke loose CLASSIC! GREAT MATCH UNLIKE TODAY'S SUCK ASS MATCHES!

  • I think Mcmahon was in love with HBK back then.

  • i know, do you notice how every time HBK's music hit he sounded like he just shit himself

  • if it wasn't for HBK the wwe would have been bought out by wcw. That's why Vince loved him.

  • Don't forget stone cold, he was the face of the attitude era, of course DX was too

  • he has some sweet entrances

  • 4:05 The Hard Fundation!!!!

    Anvil, Bulldog, Owen and Pillman.

WWF was great in those years...

    RIP Owen & Pillman

  • and rip davey boy smith

  • he died?

  • what the fuck, just cuz the rattlesnake has to be a idiot HBK looses a title?thats just stupid

  • I gotta agree with Rockabilly, the charisma of the 80's was the best by far!!

  • nall the 90's were wayeeeeeed better

  • that what im sayin the attitude era

  • Then we in agreement, friend :)

  • all one has to do is look at the crowd then and compare them to now and you can clearly see that then was better

  • lol, I love how the comercial just says, "chevy chase" .
