you have to have access to your ship, the normandy. So if you've already beat the game, you will have to play it again up until you gain spectre status/get the SSV Normandy

Can anyone tell me if this add-on takes place after the original story or is it accessible during the actual game? I only ask as I havent completed the game (actually restarting after losing all my data :-( ) so I wont bother downloading thill I complete the game if its set after. Also if anyone knows how to copy and transfer me high ranks for all my characters on the 360 let me know lol.. I h8 the building up ur characters element but its such a good game Im persevering!

it's accessible during the game in your galaxy map, you can play it whenever the galaxy map becomes available to you

Bring Down the Sky is an expansion that dosen't really affect the original storyline but you can do this any time you want, doing so might affect your game in Mass Effect 2

Also if you want to play as one of your old characters from the beginning just start a new game and select "use Existing profile" you'll start a new game with the character you finished the game with, there will be no stat changes however but party members will have free points

you can download from the Mass Effect website, under the tab download, if you have the PC verson just sign up on the mass effect website, enter your game code, and they should automaticly send a code for downloading bringing the down the sky

PC version is free from the site as long as you have a legit copy. 360 version is MS points so you have to pay for that.

You can start a new game with one of your already experienced created characters. So you can be on Eden Prime as a level 50 or whatever.
