I never saw the old one. Today i saw the new one it was okay. But it had a lot of gore and some things in this video are the same, but tom was the killer in the new version, why did they change it?

In the orginal Harry Warden killed Axel's father . Axel was hiding under the bed and saw it all when he was a little boy. Axel's father was one of the supervisors who left the mine to go celebrate hence the explosion that trapped Harry in the mine.

the older version rules, i don't like the remakes these so called Directors make. why screw up a classic? i was looking @ the new reissue of this dvd yesterday 3/7 and was tempted to buy (next time) and noticed that you can now watch all the deleated scenes as they were suppose to be in the film sequence(which to me seems great rather then clicking on to the bonus gallery.) i really wish Part 2 could have been made, since he(Axl) got away in the end. Long live Harry Warden!

@noiseruption they were going 2 make a 2nd part it was going 2 be about tom and the girl having a baby and the whole town celebrating valentine's with a party again not knowing axel was stil on the loose but due 2 a low budget they couldn't make it happen
