I am biologically and mentally female and I totally understood your sense of loss of the years because others took away your right to choose. you were born xxy because if there is a "God" and he doesn't make mistakes you were meant to be that way. I could go on, these are just analogies. But imagine of mix of characteristics, that's basically how it is. Hope that helps!
She both looks and sounds like a 'natural' female. What was done to her as an infant was simply criminal. Doctors and parents aren't God, and shouldn't presume to act as if they are. As for assignment surgery at birth to male I find that most unusual, possibly there was genital surgery to repair malformation, but sex would have been obvious not ambiguous.

That would make them a klinefelter, the definition comes from the sex cells produced and the internal configuration of gonads/proto gonads, there is a book called concise pathology 3 that describes the different types that there are...there are hermaphrodites/pseudo hermaphrodites and then stuff that is the result of exposure to either chemicals and sometimes radiation called Klinefelter and then there are ones called Kat due cry and klinefelter, they have incomplete gene's...

But if you think about it -- sexual males and females are made of the same parts. Body of the penis = clitoris, outer portion of the penis = vagina, head of the penis = cervix, scrotum = labia. I could go on, these are just analogies. But imagine of mix of characteristics, that's basically how it is. Hope that helps!

She both looks and sounds like a 'natural' female. What was done to her as an infant was simply criminal. Doctors and parents aren't God, and shouldn't presume to act as if they are. I made a discovery, I've known it for years it just didn't click. Regardless of how many additional X sex chromosomes you have only 1 is active in every cell of the body. So this woman is not 80/20 female/male she was all male just like any other XY man and she's Transsexual. As for assignment surgery at birth to male I find that most unusual, possibly there was genital surgery to repair malformation, but sex would have been obvious not ambiguous.

@BizaroMustard100 You should watch this intersex that went to Tyra show(it's here in youtube) and she did that. She one day decided to stop shaving body hair and shaved her head. All of a sudden everybody was treating her like a man; when before, they'd think she was a woman.
I guess it depends on the person; some people can pass as both genders

Over 40 intersex variations?! After watching this video and reading the comments, I'm starting to admire Mao Zedong. Perhaps we should eliminate sexuality and gender from world culture, altogether. The energy being wasted in gender issues could be redirected into more productive avenues.

Gonadal Dygenesis is improper gonads that a male or female normally should have, and endocrine disorders are hormones that are attached to the brain that effect most of our body functions so basically these problems can be fixed just go to this site and females pick up Fertile XX and Male pick up Fertile XY and this will help with your problem guaranteed w w w . n a t i v e r e m e d i e s . c o m

I have something to recommend to hermaphrodites that can help with there condition but first let me explain the problem, they have Hormonal Imbalance and Gonadal Dygenesis including Endocrine Disorders. Hormonal Imbalance can cause growth disorders in the pitiutary glands, ill finish with the next paragraph

@peaceandparty I have a document Gavan listing every 46XY DSD, I'm sure I shared it wit you, all you need do is read it, Swyers is not the only female phenotype that has 46XY chromosomes. But you are male, and unless you do what Adele did you always will be male. XXY does not mean one is not male.

@seriouslyWeird a) I disagree, she's pretty girly. I would have wondered if she was a female-to-male back when she was a 'male' (still hot).
And b) she'd look even less masculine if they hadn't given her male sex hormones and steroids as a teenager.
And *c)* did you notice that she hadn't started medically transitioning yet? That's the appointment. It sounded like she's had no female hormones, no operations, that's just hair and makeup she's working. That's her without the medical magic.

that's a very warm, beautiful and brave woman.of course it's better late than never but still it would've been much better if they had let her choose in the first place.things are changing though and more people coming out as who they are and it's less of a 'shameful secret' than it used to be.i think secrecy has been the major reason why this issue has not gotten the attention it deserves until somewhat recently because parents thought they were protecting their child from ridicule and bullying
