@Caf33naddikZ Hi! Thanks so much for writing in! I love scalloped corn too... and it's so easy to make! I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving! Hugs...
Hi Ellie! Thanks so much for watching and writing in. I hope you were able to try this recipe. It's so yummy! Hope you had a beautiful Christmas! Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year! Hugs!
Hi MsPinkPansy! How are you? I'm not quite sure why this recipe has 'scalloped' in the title. Possibly because it is topped with buttered cracker crumbs, or maybe the sauce. Some areas in the US call this corn pudding, and some areas call it scalloped corn. It's a yummy recipe though and has been in my family for generations. Hope you can try it sometime! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! Lots of hugs to you and yours!
Duane! Thanks so much for writing in! Always love hearing from you!!! I agree, you can't go wrong with corn and sprinkled buttered crackers! Yum, yum, yummy! Mucho hugs and love right back atcha!!!
Hi Mark! Thank you so much for watching and writing in. Always love hearing from you. Own show on FN? Ha ha. I'd be laughing the whole time and catching the set on fire, lol. You are sweet though. Talk to you soon! Hugs.
Hi Betty! Thank you so much for stopping by and for the very kind words! I always love hearing from you! Hope you are well and enjoying your much deserved break. We will miss you and can't wait for your return! Enjoy the Holidays my dear friend! Much love to you and your family!!!
Hi Betty! Thank you for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it! I love corn too. I made a skillet full for Thanksgiving, but ended up spilling half of it onto the floor! GRRRR. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thank you again for the sweet words! Hugs...
Hiya Sweet Amy... I love corn but corn don't love me lol. Sounds yummy though. The family will love it, I just gotta keep out of it. Happy Thanksgiving down there eh? We had ours up here last month. Guess what we ended up having for eats? Torpedo Subs from Mikes Sub shop. Yup... no turkey this year. Everybody down with the flu etc. I never got sick though for a a change. The H1N1 came and passed me by. I stayed ok.
Hi Bonnie! How are you? I hope you and your family are doing great. I'm sorry that corn doesn't agree with you. Sadly, there are things I can't eat either. I don't do well with dairy and I have to avoid it. And yet, I love milk, ice cream and such. :-( Bummer. Torpedo Subs? Wow, now that sounds good! Thanksgiving was really nice, but now I'm sick of turkey. UGH! I hope everyone is recovering from the flu! Praise the Lord you didn't get it! Happy Holidays to you! Talk soon! Love..
Hi! Thank you so much for watching! Hope you are well. Yeah, no outtakes or bloopers this time. Just trying to change things up a bit. :-) Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Hugs...
Hmm...looks easy Amy. I think I'm going to try cooking it myself. If I'm not successful, I hope to get Fire and Rescue to save me...(well, I'd really prefer you to save me if you're not too busy) :-P
Glenn! Oh, I know you will do great cooking this scalloped corn! So easy to make. If you need rescued, just holler and I'll zoom over with my rolling pin and help! Then again, I did just catch my carpet on fire with my hair dryer a week or so ago. Hmmmm, maybe you should rescue me, lol! Oh well. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Hugs!
Yep, my hair dryer shorted out and sparks flew out of the plug, landed on my carpet and started a fire. That's not the worse of it either, my hair was green at the time! Hair coloring gone bad, ha ha. Thank goodness I'm back to blonde, but my carpet is ruined. Grrrr. Never a dull moment. Maybe I should start a home remodeling channel, ha ha. Hugs to ya!
Hi! How are you? Thank you so much for posting! This recipe brings back many wonderful memories for me. My Grandfather loved this recipe and would request it every year! Forget the pie, forget the turkey, Grandpa wanted the scalloped corn! So cute! I agree with you, to make it more firm, cook a bit longer. Wish I had said that in the video. I was so hungry when I made this that I took it out early. It was still good, but not as firm. Happy Thanksgiving! Hugs and love!
Hi! Thank you for watching and posting! I'm so happy this recipe brings back wonderful memories! I hope this is as good as you remember it. Have a very Happy, Blessed Thanksgiving. Hugs to you and yours.
Hi soonfully! Thank you for watching. This should set up the longer you bake it and the buttered cracker crumbs on top should brown a little. I was so hungry when I made this the other day that I took it out too early. It was a bit runny, but still very good! Have a happy and delicious Thanksgiving! Hugs!
Happy Thanksgiving!! I am not a fan of creamed corn so I don't think I would like this dish however its a very easy side for those who may!! Thanks for sharing!! ♥ oh and BTW your hair looked super sexy fantastic!! ♥♥♥♥♥
Hi Angie! When I was younger, I never liked creamed corn, but strangely I like it now. Thank you so much for the hair comment. I had a mishap a couple of weeks ago and my hair was green! LOL. Thank goodness I've got it back to blonde! I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving! Oh, and Happy Birthday too!
Hi Becky! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Hope you can try this. We ate it all up in one day, ha ha. I will probably make this again for Thanksgiving. Much love to you and your family!
Hi misshair! Thank you so much for watching. This is super easy to throw together and the buttered, crumbled crackers on top really make it. I'm thinking about doubling the cracker topping next time. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!!
Hi Will! How are you? I was getting ready to PM you. I hope you are doing great! Thank you so much for watching. I really do appreciate it! Hugs to you!

This is a family favorite! My mom taught me how to make this years ago, and my husband loves it.
I cook mine a little bit longer, so it gets really firm, and has the consistency of stuffing.
God Bless.
