Hi MsPinkPansy! How are you? I'm not quite sure why this recipe has 'scalloped' in the title. Possibly because it is topped with buttered cracker crumbs, or maybe the sauce. Some areas in the US call this corn pudding, and some areas call it scalloped corn. It's a yummy recipe though and has been in my family for generations. Hope you can try it sometime! Hiya Sweet Amy... I love corn but corn don't love me lol. Sounds yummy though. The family will love it, I just gotta keep out of it. Happy Thanksgiving down there eh? We had ours up here last month. Guess what we ended up having for eats? Torpedo Subs from Mikes Sub shop. Yup... no turkey this year. Everybody down with the flu etc. I never got sick though for a a change. The H1N1 came and passed me by. I stayed ok.

Yep, my hair dryer shorted out and sparks flew out of the plug, landed on my carpet and started a fire. That's not the worse of it either, my hair was green at the time! Hair coloring gone bad, ha ha. Thank goodness I'm back to blonde, but my carpet is ruined. Grrrr. Never a dull moment. Maybe I should start a home remodeling channel, ha ha. Hugs to ya!

This is a family favorite! My mom taught me how to make this years ago, and my husband loves it.

I cook mine a little bit longer, so it gets really firm, and has the consistency of stuffing.

Forget the pie, forget the turkey, Grandpa wanted the scalloped corn! So cute! I agree with you, to make it more firm, cook a bit longer. Wish I had said that in the video.
