  • can you do this on a macbook pro and will this be choppy?

  • @AJones413 in case youre still wondering if it works... i need to tell you that i bought this piece of shit yesterday and it aint working by now.

  • can I use it play Bioshock 2 on my computer If I connect it to something.

  • NOOOO it costs $102.85

  • @recepesek they are cheaper on ee-B@yy

  • Is the audio/video quality of this device, when using it as a USB ( pc ) to hdmi ( lcd tv ) connection equal to a pure hdmi to hdmi connection of a PC and LCD TV ?

  • does it work on a mac ?

  • will it work with av amps. As they have issues with DVI and HDMI because of HDCP Great if it does WORK.

  • Sabrent/Arkview offers 2 models with varying resolutions and features.. MAIN features on this brand: (1) Works great even with 6 adapters and 6 monitors; (2) Uses VERY little system resources (3) Arkview does offer LIVE support and even logged into my computer to set mine up.) The model here is USB-DH88 which is 1280x1024/1400x1050; then there is the USB-1612 with Max Pixels 1600x1200/1680x1050, and lastly the USB-WA62 which does audio too (BUT via RCA not true HDMI Audio).

  • how much is it ..?

  • hey how well does this device play movies and video from a pc to an hdtv?? has nebudy tried this? im tryin to play movies from my laptop to my hdtv, but all i have is a vga output on my pc....ne comments?

  • ..................hows the latency.

  • i'd buy it

  • that thing is awesome

  • very cool

  • $90????? really!

  • would this carry audio through the hdmi as well?

  • yes.

  • no cause its switched from dvi

  • maybe,

  • I'm pretty sure Aaron is right on this, as DVI doesn't carry audio the HDMI adapter can't magic the audio out of no-where.

  • how do u let the dvi carry out audio? i have a monitor with built in speakers?

  • aux cable

  • It's SPDIF enabled, which means if you have a DVI-D to HDMI adaptor, it carries an audio signal aswell, provided it is going into a monitor with speakers. I don't just make this shit up =P

  • no, because its from dvi. dvi doesnt carry audio

  • Then explain how does AMD and NVIDIA can send audio signals through DVI?

  • ... they dont.

  • The 3870, and 4870 do send audio through the dvi/hdmi adapter, I'm not sure if the 3850/4850 does though

  • DVI does carry audio. DVI and HDMI are exactly the same, just a different shape and different specifications. They both carry Video/Audio.

Monitors have a HDMI input ONLY if they have speakers on them.

Trust me, I'm a computer technician and I do this nearly every day =)

  • it doesnt carry audio

  • they do

  • SPDIF

  • DVI-D carries audio if it's plugged into a SPFIF enabled device, such as this one.

  • hello, how are you friend? I can say where they find a friend like to talk about what your new computer, but in Spanish
