Guess you mean the Mario Grand Prix. You have to beat every star level in the other minigames iirc. It's very long time ago that I played it, so I'm not 100% sure.

@PS: read the video description ;) It's all about practicing it over an over...

In the description you can find an explanation how you can hit the balls exactly. It need practice though.

And for Luigi... just follow the tasks in the story mode.

i'm pretty sure its the buddy emblem, and i think you have to buy each of the skill improving items from the shop in one story mode to be able to buy the buddy emblem. i can't remember exactly but i do have all the items

That's different in Chain Chomp Sprint - there luck is quite important.

Nope. I didn't use cheat devices (especially not Gameshark, which is for N64). I played/practised the game 20 hours to become that good in it. It's pure skill ;-)
