  • I wonder what the view from the top was like...

  • you should of gone up!

  • @sollows1 Not much of a view with all of that fog! I've been up there about 6 times already anyway :D

  • @TheElevatorChannel i now want to go to st. louis and go up the arch! i have my passport so i can go down there! it seems pretty cool! is it hard to go up?

  • @sollows1 Not at all! It's a major tourist attraction. It forget how much it costs (less than $10). The wait can be pretty long at times. I always recommend that people visit early in the morning on the weekend or during the week to get the shortest line.

  • @TheElevatorChannel yeah the arch is on my bucket list! but airfare to st. Louis may scare me away! i live in the Provence of nova scotia! Google it it a NICE place! it would be neat to meet you

  • AWESOME

  • @alpaljl You'll be seeing this soon enough! (And hopefully on a nicer day!). They're actually planning to revamp the park around the arch in the next few years. It should look much better by 2015.

  • @TheElevatorChannel I'm excited!! :)

  • The tram cars were some of the last products built by the St. Louis Car Company. When you rode the arch tram up to the top, the car doors were of a similar design they came up with for the PCC cars in Philadelphia.

  • Actually, it was visible.

There were moments the top of the farther leg did go away.

  • @georgef551 The effect was better from a distance, but there were too many trees in the way to shoot the video from back there.

  • @TheElevatorChannel

Yeah, definately, like the images you posted earlier.
