Not trying to knock Walmart or anything I shop there a lot too but, you can get the pure citric acid in bulk online for like $2 a pound and have to use just a TINY bit to get the same acidity ... Just throwing the info out there ... Oh by the way, nice work, keep it up and I'll keep watching for sure!
@Blazingspitfire YES!!! I have been trying to find that conversation between us so that I could give you credit!! Thanks so much for that idea. It works like a charm!!!
@daywalker627 lol. I found that method accidently because I was too lazy to grab the basket (which was upstairs), So I did it without the basket. The result was more than surprising.
@bigbuckjeff1 Thanks! What I do is place them in a bowl with some acetone and swash them around. The acentone displaces the water and once I sit on a towl, they dry pretty quick. I do leave them out over night tho...
@kneedown4GOD Thanks! Yes the basket being out helped a whole lot. Not sure why, but it did.... Glad you joined... Can't wait to interact with ya. We do have a chat room you can log in at the bottom of the page then hit log in once the chat box opens up.
you can also by lemon acid it's a natrual conservant used in jam's and so on the E number is E330 and in Norway you can by it in powder form. after you are don just put em in the sink and wash em off! (can also be used with out the sonic washer just get a bucket of hot water and dump the brass in)
@halla369 Very good point. Lemon Juice, which might be what your refering to works well also. I have a friend that boils his in Lemishine on the stove for about an hour if I remember right...
i use Mr clean and water in my ultrasonic and fill that sucker up to the top you will get a better action in the solution .......if you fill it with water and turn it on you will see a big difference in action than with Mr clean in it the water. soap acts as a conductor and you get more action with the Mr clean in the solution...... just my 2 cents coming from a professional ultrasonic user.
Great Video.. What do you recommend for rusty botls

@14NONWO I would recommend for rusty bolts a solution called Micro90.... You can google it and read up on it. It should clean them up pretty good...
