Classic JMartyn-from a magical time-the atmosphere when John started singing this -or outside in -at a concert in the 70s-was unique- there's absolutely nothing then or now that could compare I dont think. You almost got stoned simply by listening! Listening again to this is almost time travelling back to that time. Miss the old bugger, but he left timeless pieces of music as a legacy-this is one of 'em.
