@6garbageman9 Standards for recruits has gone down a lot over the years because the increase in demand for officers on patrol. That has lead to lots of misconducts by these rogue cops. I'm not out to villlianize anyone, besides how can you make someone look bad if they aren't misbehaving? I'm friends with a few good cops and they've told me, they don't want to speak out against the bad ones because the department will punish them not the bad ones with cuts in hours.

@daygloman apparently what happened was that the officer told the guy several times to look the other way (law enforcement does this to prevent the suspect from being able to target them incase they have a concealed weapon) so that was why the officer kicked the guy in the face, probably excessive use of force, but in a situation like that anyones adrenaline would be through the roof, who knows how one might react.

@daygloman apparently what happened was that the officer told the guy several times to look the other way (law enforcement does this to prevent the suspect from being able to target them incase they have a concealed weapon) so that was why the officer kicked the guy in the face, probably excessive use of force, but in a situation like that anyones adrenaline would be through the roof, who knows how one might react.

I was not aware that saying things to the police justified people getting kicked in the head. However, I think we can both agree from the video that this was unlikely the case anyway.
Also, wikipedia has a nice list of police brutality instances in the USA, Generally, the most widely publicized ones - and what happened to the police. Some, like the rape of a haitian in NYC got a sufficient sentence. Most however got little to nothing.

There is no denying that this is pure brutality, there no circumstances that would lessen it or make it any better than it is. If i were to do that to some one i would be arrested, and there would be no consideration given to weather the person said any thing wrong to me, I would be tried and jailed, that's what should happen to this cop.
