Lima will kill you not only with guns and gangs , but with Stupidity for coming to this place... Mark my words ..... Very Dangerous place to go.... Let alone the Addicts that go there too to smoke crack and shit like that... STAY HOME, STAY OUT OF TROUBLE....

@LimaUnite I knew what I was getting into when I went there. If someone falls through the floor of that place then that's their own dumbass fault, use common sense and you'll be fine. As far as the 'gangs' and 'guns' thing goes, that shit doesn't doesn't phase me. Fort Wayne is no Chicago or L.A but I think we got more gang and shooting problems than you guys, I go to sleep to sirens

@skatexATMx its actually in Shawnee. Find the Pony keg on Shawnee Rd. and anyone in the neighborhood behind it could tell you where it is. its actually right off of Western Ohio. Just be sure they wont call the cops. people back here can be asses. Good luck

@itsstephiduhh Yep! and the guy who lives next to the drive back to the place is a retired cop. He used to call on us constantly even after he knew we were SUPPOSED to be there. Some people need to learn how to mind thier own you know?

Look on forgotten ohio or illicit ohio websites. They have more detailed maps. I suggest parking somewhere else like I did and walking to the site.

@suny123boy1 lol. i always walked to the hospital. i live back there. anyways. there is nothing great about going there though. the place is vandalized and literally falling apart. if you get caught its really not worth the fine anymore. It is dangerous as hell now too. I suggest just being respectful and let the building come down on its own instead of entering it. Its a piece of lima's history that needs to be remembered for what it was. people died there.

Going up on the roof at night in winter time is amazing... since there are no leaves on the trees you can see all the light and the flames and stuff from the factories... Its a pretty cool view... till you get caught like i did haha

It's been years since I've been there. I'm honestly surprised it's still standing. I was one of the guys who helped develop the property for play as a paintball arena. Knocked holes in the walls, put the fencing up on the second floor, Built the front stairs. Looks like most of that is gone. I'm not surprised to see the floors gone on the side wings. they were soft when we were there working. Though they were creepy. The childrens rooms were probably the worst. Sad really.

Yeah man it's still there as far as I know. I haven't been there since last March though so who knows. I'm going back Saturday, so I guess I'll see then if it's still up there or not. I hope it's still there.

@itsstephiduhh Yeah what amazed me was how well preserved the paint was in those rooms. Almost like someone had touched them up recently. Everything else was a wreck and those were so bright and clear. Sad and creepy.

lol hahaha I dunno what's more gross, the fact that it looks like dried jizz or that a dead person was laying there for a few days. Probably dried jizz hahahaha
