@xnamehereplease96 Actually these chameleons are normally brownish green. So with the craptastic cam quality it comes out as black....

ALSO, it is true that when stressed a Chameleon will go one solid color, be it super dark or super light. It's the final defense mechanism to scare the shit outta whatever is bugging it. Really they don't have many predators.....

Before that though, they do the "Branch walk" where they kinda swag with their walk. Often times they do this in trees. Like leaves
