People's own experience are a testimony to God, -proof. that obviously mean that proof is not the issue. The fact is that you don't want to believe, you deny the truth, because you don't want to hear it. It takes a lot to have real faith in something that perhaps is not all proven. something that goes beyond our finite minds. it takes a strong person to have faith.

Jesus is proven, but the bible is far from 90% historically proven. Abraham lived like 200 years in the Bible. So did a bunch of his sons. The old testament is a lot of stories designed to show principles. The New Testament contradicts itself a lot because of the multiple view points in the different books (i.e. Matthew, Luke, etc.) Not to say that the bible is wrong or anything like that, it's just not entirely factual, as with most religious doctrines of different faiths.

Scenario. 5 different people see the same car accident. When questioned about it each of them give the account in THEIR OWN WORDS. While these people may word it differently, the events that actually happened were in agreement. Same thing with the apostles. These are different men from all walks of life experiencing Christ. If their accounts were exactly the same then THAT would raise red flags! And as far as "not historically proven", I suggest you do some more research!

i've read the Bible, and the events that actually happened aren't all in agreement. Most of the major ones are, but even Jesus' last words on the cross are disputed. i didn't say that it was historically disproven, just that saying historical doctrines that are 2000 years old and written in a dead language aren't exactly a) reliable and b) readily available. Most historians dispute stuff that is far more proven than Moses living to be 800.

It was huge news here when it happened and I think people rallied around the Colts even more than they already had. Losing in the playoffs that year hurt way more than usual. You could tell the players wanted it sooo badly that year, even more than just winning, they wanted to do something for their coach who needed a bright spot.

Becoming a Christian does not mean that any person instantly becomes perfect. That they will stop or ever stop sinning. It is admitting that we are all broken people and we are need of a savior who is Jesus Christ, God who came and died for our sins. The church based on the gospel of the Bible is full of people like myself who are looking for restoration and healing from a perfect God who loves us even though we continually mess up and sin against Him.
