When it was originally instituted by Thomas Jefferson it was called separation of State and Church. It was meant so the state doesn't interfere with issues of the church. Obama can't be a christian and a Muslim. That's contradicting the Biblical definition of a christian which is a true believer, follower and disciple of Christ. Over 80% of America claims to be christian. If they were 'true' christians, the christian churches in America would be far bigger. 80% doesn't go to church.

Basically, the government doesn't have the right to tell someone how to behave (peaceably) in the privacy of thier own home; and if the government enacts behaviors that are destructive to personal freedom, then the people have the right to deconstruct that governmental institution. I may not fully agree with Obama on abortion, but his "pay-grade" response was spot on. How are we as humans to know the specifics of God's will?

If this was supposed to be a fair forum, then why were the questions posed in different ways?

McCain's question began without the Christian preamble and NO mention of the verses proverb which Obama received.

McCain's Question 1 may have seemed identical but leaving out the preamble allowed McCain to focus on the part of the question that seemed most important "in your administration".

He listened to Barack's whole interview. He has proven to be untrustworthy and his FIRST statement when he came on the stage was a big fat lie.
