I just finished the game a few seconds ago. Was looking for the ending to favorite it. Thanks for uploading this Omega. I've watched your videos before but never bothered to subscribe. Doing it now though.

Did anyone else find the final bosses kind of disappointing though? The Ridley fight was my favorite.

I kinda don't get the Phantoom part and I think that the Metroid Queen kinda just popped out without being mentioned, ever. I would have loved to fight a Mother Brain clone, the so called MB as an last boss. Also, I miss Kraid.

So what are your opinions on the game's story? Would you want the Metroid series to continue with this narrative style?

Personally I thought it was good, it could have been better in the presentation as some moments felt awkward.  I still did enjoy the story even though it was a rather short game, I ended up actually liking Anthony and Adam. The deleter story had an anti-climatic ending and surprisingly none of the other characters even mentioned it.

I'm also curious if this story narrative is used again if they would be able to use the events of this game to lead into another game. The game started out with no Metroids, Space Pirates or MB, but they were reintroduced here as some sort of GF conspiracy. The experiments stopped but there could possibly be a scientist besides Madeline like the guy who cleaned Samus' suit at the start who survived. It would be kind of lazy way to have the same enemies again, but that's a big part of Metroid now

@BlackMagister This is basically the same plot as the one in Metroid fusion where the GF were cloning and breeding metroids in a secret area of the research center floating over SR388, the only difference is Samus fights the X instead of dealing with the deleter

@DarkMarke Didn't play Metroid Fusion and just read the summary of the story. I knew that this game was explaining the back story to Fusion, but didn't know how similar the plot was. It would be interesting if they did this Other M's narrative to have a game post Fusion with flash backs to Fusion similar to how there were some for Super Metroid.

@BlackMagister I wouldn't mind. I always saw Metroid as one of Nintendo's more serious franchises as far as storylines go. Seeing Samus in a more fleshed out and emotional light was a step in the right direction, if you ask me.

And I can already tell there will be another game that takes place between this and Fusion, based on the fact that Samus hasn't recieved the "new starship" shown in Fusion.

@DemonDude12 Uh, if you saw the intro before pushing Start on the first screen when you start the game, you see Samus's ship being on a set course to a Meteor belt because of the X Parasite controlling her. That is where the ship exploded and Samus used a escape pod beforehand. So with the new suit out of the infected Power Suit, she gained another ship

So yeah...there are other mysteries in the Metroid games that are left around that need to be explained like who is Sylux?
