  • Has he watched this? Wont it be funny if he did?

  • I'm in a LDR too... she lives in other country but love < all... so try...

  • Been with my boyfriend 3 years 2 months. We're both 17 now but met on holiday. He lives 200 miles away (soon to be 400 when we move to uni). Struggle with train fares so only see him about every two months or so. I know it's nothing compared to some people on here but thought I'd share it with you anyway.

  • To your question: Yeah all right, I may as well destroy the other half of my brain.

  • I am in LDR. Its not too far away, but it is far enough that it hurts. Since I am still a student and scan't drive yet, me and bf can only see eachother like once a month

  • you are right but , how about when both your first letter of your names make Distance(Km) kiloMeter per second, the unit measurement of Distance + time it takes to travel where is he/she

at the some time are Distance man and wife, I hate how much it burns you inside,

  • long distant relationships = fail

  • @DJBrokenHigh PHAIL!

We met at home and then i went to college so when i asked him did he want to break up he said no he knew it would be hard but stuck through it. It has been very difficult but he comes to visit me all the time and i go home a lot. Also next year im changing college and he has decided to go there too! i cant wait and also i get what u mean about people complaining it makes me mad!!!

  • I'm in a long distance relationship too..

    um..i met him on myyearbook..

we've known each other for about 3 years..

we just recently started actually "dating"

but we've always acted like a couple, you know what i mean? saying i love you and all that..

we are planning on meeting next year in october :]

  • I met my girlfriend of 5 years in a chatroom. I was with someone at the time, and she became a really good friend. She was the shoulder I leaned on as my then-girlfriend screwed me over.

We talked on the phone everyday for a few months before I asked her to be my girlfriend. We've been together ever since!

I'm visiting her for Valentine's Day :D! My plane leaves in 4 hours actually :x

  • hey man how did it go!

  • I personally would probably hardly ever do it..unless I had to (i.e. marriage) and I don't really recommend people do it unless they have to. I would just be friends and if the proximity happened to get narrower in the future, maybe allow it to bloom into a deeper relationship.

Also, this reminds me of a rule; don't take a woman word too quickly when she says she is over someone! What women say and do, and what is true doesn't always mesh up as perfect!

  • im a long distance..2 years and 7 months... total we spend only 2 weeks together.. 1 week together and other 1 week and another 1 week and 2 days...haha..soo yeah we barely get to see each other but we working hard for it! finish school and then move in :D

  • My relationship with my bf has been going on for a little over 9 months now. The next time i see him will probably be in october. He came to see me for my birthday, in june. It was great, and saying goodbye to him at the airport really sucked lol. He left his jacket for me and he calls me everyday at night before bed. It does suck that i don't get to see him, especially now that he's getting concerned about how he will start college again soon and probably get a job.

  • My story...I'm American and I met my American boyfriend in Germany. It was 6 months after being in Germany together before we could meet again, after meeting again we decided to go out because we knew it could work. That was Jan, we saw each other in March, the middle of May, then for 6 weeks in the summer we went to visit Germany and our old friends together, right after that I stayed with him for 2 weeks. We are a 18 hour drive apart now but for college in fall it will only be 6. I can't wait!

  • I believe it all falls down to the same problem: human beings tendo to overrate people or things which are far from them. This is universal. If we live in Europe, we think US is better, if we live in US, we think Japan is better, and so on... And we also tend to think people from far away are better than the people we have close to us. Sometimes I ask myself if this has something to do with, since the person lives far away, we'd have the obligation to make things turn out right... Well, opinion.

  • LOL @ Cozy. long distance does suck....

  • Whats the first song?

  • Long distance can be suck when it didn't work out when it does work out well it's like you are in heaven

  • I hate long distance relationships with a passion!! i never want to go through anything like that again. it wa a horrible experience. Her name was melissa and she was from Ottawa and im from Southern Cali. when we first met we fell in love with each other. we had allot in common and things started out great! but things took a bad turn the following year. we argued every time we met i found out she was flirting with other guys and she had a serious drinking problem (not a very good mix)

  • oh yikes... that sucks.

  • @biskit460 Snap mate, except for the fact that mine was pretty narcissistic.

  • It is pretty tough, and airport goodbyes suck so bad!! I guess good things don't come easily though, and everything will fall into place as it is meant to.

On a different note. sorority are pretty much the bain of my life when ever I come over. My boyfriend lives in a fraternity... I havent met a single girl I actually could get along with!

  • katie0770 airport goodbyes do suck sooo bad!! but getting on the plane knowing you are headed to see him again feels amazing!

  • Hey. I'm not exactly a regular youtuber but somehow I came across your video blogs whilst clicking away aimlessly. I'm from London and my boyfriend from the states. We cross the 4000 miles as often as we can but its pretty expensive and difficult with us both being in college. We are trying to figure out a way to live together but it seems like visas are going to make that quite difficult. At least if you wanted to you could move in with him after you graduate.

  • hey katie!

We have the same case. My bf is from London and im from Puerto Rico. Its really hard not having him here. But im saving money so i can go see him. I love him so much. Ive never felt this way before. But all i need is faith and im sure ill get to see him someday.

  • I also consider myself a loner but I love conversation with people, just sometimes it's also good to be alone and especially I think I loathe the fact I have to speak, I prefer wanting to speak with persons that makes me want to talk and get to know:)

    (sorry had to cut comment:/)

  • I don't regret a thing:)

so good luck for you, just listen to your heart:)

ps: also enjoyed the introvert video of you, I'm an introvert too, I hate the word shy because I'm a big mouth and I speak my truth if I want to just that I'm not comfortable talking in public, or with strangers

  • this is a cute video:)

long distance relationship are not easy that's for sure, but when it's true love it's always worth the waiting to be reunited and live together:)

  • Wow. My story is almost identical to yours. I've know her since elementary school. She had a crash on me, but I didn't notice until we moved apart. We only started dating about a year ago. We talk online via webcam and took a vocation together, but we are both still in college, so sometimes there will be weeks without communication when either I'm very busy or she's very busy. There is still a bit more than a year until my graduation, and she's going to med school. So it's not going to be easy.

  • I agree, LDR totally suck. I broke up with my ex in October and jumped right into another relationship which has now become LDR. We live about 1000 km away. No regrets over breaking up with my ex though, I'm so happy now although the distance is driving me nuts and making me crazy. I moved to another city for a job about 5 months ago, but I think I'm moving back at the end of this year. My family is there, my friends are there, and my boyfriend is there, but that's still almost a year left...

  • about 6 months left if you are still in it...just think about how that time went by =)

  • your not like the regular girls so don't be a hater

  • what ?! you like someone else and not me?

  • let me elaborate.. I spent 3 years in an LDR.. From Washington Dc to new york city. i would visit every month.. which totally sucked. Good luck to you

  • move to new york asap =] just a suggestion.
