  • lol 4 violists are jealous though.

  • I rape whores to this music!

  • its a type of shell and he is using it as a trumpet

  • Is the guy on the bottom trying to eat a violin?

  • ;D

  • those 4 who disliked don't know what true music is .

  • Smell the oroma in Roma! !!!

  • Vivaldi's music has several typical characters, his works usually are not polyphony, unlike Bach's works. Also they are thin, soft, gentle, concise, beautiful, change, natural, straightforward, and friendly. They like the lyrics or the landscape oil picture. Maybe these are the reasons why His works more acceptable by many people than Bach's works.

  • classical music ALWAYS helps me do my homework perfectly and happily :)

  • the thing i love about a quartet or a duet is that it can sound like there is a whole symphony behind them.

  • Merveilleux !

  • I can assure you / reassure you all that this is D MAJOR Concerto for 4 Violins etc.

  • @JESUS1John

I believe you that it was originally in D but this version has been transposed to Ab/Db/C# or something along those lines.

  • @Tgedz98 Hullo, yes it is in D Major but the pitch has been warped a bit here ... sometimes ( I don't know why ) people have some trouble when upolading videos when the pitch gets warped commonly up nearly or actually a half-step [ semitone ] or more !

The human ear is more sensitive to sharp pitch variations than flat variations. Bless you. I cidentally, I performed this Concerto when I was 14 with some friends / colleagues.

  • @Tgedz98 Yes, it's approaching ( warped pitch ) to a key of D-flat Major ... also note that many Baroque Music Ensembles customarily do not use Concert Pitch [ A = 440 ] but tune to a lower A.

  • How delightful! :'D

  • Trolling on Vivaldi vid... Wewt!!!

  • What is the name of the painting?

  • ❤☆҉‿↗⁀☆҉❤☆҉‿↗⁀☆҉❤ wonderful so very wonderful ❤☆҉‿↗⁀☆҉❤☆҉‿↗⁀☆҉❤

    Thumbs up and Greets Corviniana

  • Divine ! =)

  • Vivaldi was the shit.

  • AMAZING!!!

  • Excellent !

  • uno dei miei concerti preferiti.... **

  • THANK YOU!

    WONDERFUL!

  • quite too elemental, trivial and basic music, want more sophisticated music? then you should listen bach.

  • @rodstartube

That's funny since Bach absolutely adored Vivaldi's music: copied it out, transcribed several pieces for organ solo and keyboard concertos.

  • @telemannNnyc that doen's mean it's not elemental, trivial and basic music

  • @rodstartube Actually it means you're a moron.

  • @telemannNnyc It doesn't exactly mean he's a moron, he just doesn't like Vivaldi. But to say Vivaldi is not sohpisticated is absolutele nonsense.

  • @telemannNnyc why?

  • im going to transcribe this for four harpsichords, the time someone gives me the score

  • NICE!!!!!!!!!!

  • super!

  • Lindísimo

  • @adri1430 - Thanks Adriana - it is sublime

  • Beatiful music, but whats the name of thye painting, I love it !

  • @iSteven00 idk the name of it, buti do believe it has something to do with either the roman or the greek gods.

  • DEMACIADO BELLO

  • magnífico!!!

  • me encanta esta canción

  • tell me that work is from Delacroix?? la pintura es de Eugene Delacrox??

  • what is the name of the artwork ?

  • No doubt these classical composers had musical talent. People will always have their different opinions, and just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad.

Except for pop and rap because they're just shit.

  • @qwertyqwerty00000001 Pop and rap artists have talent to, take lady gaga for example, u might thing her music sucks but she has talent...I think techno is bad because people dont need talent , but thats just my opinion

  • If you're not being sarcastic, then I feel sorry for you. Sorry that you have no maturity, taste, or a even basic level of intelligence.

  • Oh, hello again, Harmonico (this is polymath7).

I am indeed being sarcastic. "alwaysright10000" is in effect an experiment in applied rhetoric, designed to discover whether it is possible to say on the internet something that is so invidiously idiotic and philistinistic that it will be immediately obvious that it is a hoax and not an earnest remark.

So far, you're one of the very few who appears to have smelled a fault.

I find this somewhat reassuring. :-)

  • "This is crap, dog" gave it away. Nobody says that. :)

Is this experiment for a thesis, or just for fun?

  • 'I'm not sure whether you mean nobody says "dog' anymore or that nobody who says it would say "crap" instead of "shit".'

    The dog part mainly. That's very late 80s / early 90s. :)

  • @HARMONICO101 and even if sum1 had said it today it woulda been spelled "dawg"

  • @alwaysright10000 you're weird.

  • The "Largo" movement is, in its essence, very close to the slow movement of Beethoven's Piano Concerto N.4.... only more than 100 years before that...;-)

  • What an interesting observation!

  • So what you're saying basically is, these so-called geniuses ain't done shit that was new after a 100 years.

They were probably too busy powdering they're toupe's and remembering which fork to use.

  • D is most certainly my favorite, Major or Minor or anything in between, so pleasing.

  • THANK YOU !

  • Me encanta vivaldi. Es bellisima esta pieza. Saludos!!!

  • thanks

  • I enjoyed listening!

  • I don't think this version is in the D major.

  • Baroque tuning. A=415 Hz

  • @TalkerStudio it is :P Look up - Vivaldi 8 concerti - english concert - it is there :P I have recording of that CD

  • @TalkerStudio it is in D major, i played the cello for it in a concert today

  • @TalkerStudio VIVALDI the best, in fench "Le meilleur", la joie...

  • @TalkerStudio damn perfect pitch

  • this is wonderful! i adore vivaldi!!!!!!!!!

thank you for posting these amazing paintings with the most beautiful music!!!

  • ¡Maravilloso!

  • Adore Vivaldi ...& the painting is quite beautiful. Thank you for posting!

  • It looks like a Rubens but I don't think it is -at least, I don't recognize it (though have seen other of his depictions of the abduction of Europa as well as his copy of Titian treatment of the same theme).

If indeed it's not Rubens, it's rather shameless imitation of his style.

If anybody knows for sure, please tell me.

  • This piece is beautiful. I've always loved Vivaldi, but this piece almost brings me to tears it's so gorgeous. I have one question, though; do you know what the title of the artwork is and who the artist is?

  • This is "The Rape of Europa" by Noel-Nicholas Coypel (1727).

  • I don't like the painting so much for the people, but the nice blue water is pleasing to look at along with the mellow sun light on the left. The blending of colors gives me an interesting feeling I can't quite describe. It reminds me of something I've experienced, but I can't quite put my hand on it.

  • Vivaldi never stops surprising me, I've heard so many pieces of him and yet, each piece I hear seems even more beautiful.

    Another Masterpiece of Antonio Vivaldi

    Bravo

  • are you deleting my comments?

  • Me? No. Why would I do that? You usually have nice things to say.

  • You probablu pressed 'Discard' instead of 'Post Comment'... happens to me all the time! :)

  • hervorragende leistung dieses meisterwerk von vivaldi!

    wunderbare kombination,Malerei & musik,ein Spektakel majestätischen!

    große post!!

  • the beginning is natural pattern of Vivaldi but what raised my attention is the largo in this piece, which I didn't heard like it before in Vivaldi works!!

  • i have a question, it may sound stupid but wats an opus?

  • Assuming your not joking....Opus is the singular form for the plural latin word Opera & roughly translated means 'work', as in work of art but most commonly used to designate a body of work from a composer that shares similar qualities, like string quartets or piano concertos, usually published in sets of 3, 6 or 12

  • ive never heard of this

    its really good

  • I did not know this orchestra; thank you for discovery.

    Belle interpretation.

The Opus 3 Vivaldi is the essence of his creative inspiration.

It is his opus I like.

  • It was his break-out hit, so to speak. :)

  • Good project.

PD: all the repertoire that I have is from purchased CD´s.
