What a powerfully defining moment for R&A. Their unbreakable bond is acknowledged as a multi-layered and intertwined deep affection and love for one another. With all the history and foreshadowing of their relationship, it only affirms my view that they were meant for one another. Not dissing the importance of H&D, but R&A's bond outlasted other loves, and even "death".
"Loving one person doesn't take away from loving someone else." Truer words have never been spoken. So many soaps seem to think that in order to have a person in love with a new person, they have to trash the old relationships. Not so, and Robert even agrees with me. But I think that's part of the magic of R/A.
I agree, it's quite remarkable for a soap. It's been said before- but I think a lot of the credit goes to the actors for resisting the tendency of the writers to make a one dimensional love triangle. And I think the GH writers responded in kind. I love SMART actors and you can't get any smarter and wittier than FH, TR, IB, KM and JR.
I have to add, it seems inconceivable that people might not think Anna and Robert were meant for each other in the end. I see scenes like this that affirms THEIR OWN understanding of their love. Their perfect friendship made for a perfect romance later on.

What a beautiful scene between Anna/Robert and Robert/Robin.... These are the times that I really like Robert except when he's being funny...nothing tops that.

For a minute there, I thought Robert scooped Anna onto his lap!
This scene is one more example of what Robert and Anna are all about...love, love, and more love...the kind that exists between best friends. aw!

Does anyone else wonder WHAT YEAR IT IS? Is the Snowman gone or is he still yet ot come? LOL..........
I really had to laugh when Anna said "Can I have both of you?"
Now I can't stop crying when they explained "Love" to Robin.
