Lockpick set. Use the thin, metal handle and push it into the backside of the ratchet mechanism. This handle is less sharp and stiffer than the beer can method.
@tlbadger28 If they are double locked, the ratchet wont slip down rendering the shimming option useless, Not sure if they are double locked in the vid but good suggestion though. Im pretty good at shimming my many pairs of cuffs with bobbypins and such
@tlbadger28 Not all pairs can be shimmed, and no pair can be shimmed when double locked because the double lock prevents the ratchet from springing down. I dont know if the cuffs in the vid are double locked, or what model they are so I cant say for sure if that would have worked or not but either way, good suggestion
cut a strip out of a beer can. so that it is small enough to fit in the hole. then push on off the cuffs in as if you were making them tighter. as you feel it move forward stop at the furthest point then slide the strip of can into the whole till you can't push it in anymore. precede to open cuffs. HOPEFULLY YOUR NOT fucked NOW
Lose a lot of weight. Become a heroin junkie. Feed off of heroin exclusively, and then they'll just slip off. Come back when you need help kicking the junk.
shim as suggested, or check out the ITS Tactical website and search for 'handcuffs'. They describe using a bent bobby pin to open them, and you may be able to bend one just right to fit it in the center.
oh it's not the stupidest thing you've done, you posted this for Reddit karma.. many people live their whole lives being very productive with one hand, get the saw and post THAT video... I'd upvote once.
First off, you can buy more keys, so cut the key about 3/4 an inch from the end and use a pair of needle nose pliers to insert it and then turn. It worked for me a couple years ago.
Hey, at least they make pretty unusual bracelets....Just pretend it was a hipster thing, as long as you don't mind been deemed a hipster of course. :/

You should cut your hand off then have the doctors reattach it.

Lose enough weight to slip them out, you save on food and you never have to destroy the handcuff!

The key isn't anything special. You could probably get them open with a bent paperclip and fiddling with it.
