  • This Food Safari showed me how much Indian cooking influenced Persian cooking & how much Persians influenced India. Ex: Indian influence ON Persian Cooking: a) use of "Basmati" Rice, b) Turmeric Powder and c) Ghee (Ghee is a clarified butter that was used by Veda Followers over 8000 yrs ago and brought into Persia and MIddle East).....Now the Persian influence ON Indian food (a)Tandoor, b) Kebaab, c) Biryani. ...It is a pretty small world. Simply Amazing!
