Xaphoon and Hang Drum

@DkZeria , Hi, there is no background music. The Hang Instrument creates all this. So what you hear are only these 2 instruments recorded live.

I play brass horns and the tin whistle, but I'd like to try the Xaphoon. Any advise to start me off running, I.e. bamboo vs. composite?, best key? reeds?

Composite is more practical, and I'm not sure if there is actual difference in sound. So the only key you can get is C, and any 2 1/2 reed will do for start...

I just bought a Xaphoon, hoping to switch from my saxophone. I seem to be having trouble with the rounded mouthpiece. Any tips, tricks, or suggestions?

maybe is the same problem i had, plastic xaphoon mouthpiece has several milimetres between the reed window and its edge, try to posicionate the reed just covering the reed window and you will blow with more ease. I really started to sound xaphoon when did this and changed to reeds number 2.

Yes, I love and play the Duduk also. We have some more xaphoon - hang compositions. Hopefully we will have another one on youtube, soon. I will have a go at the baritone reed on the xaphoon and see what it does for me.
