  • That's why it's called the Mr. Bill "OH NOOOOO"... dude, glad you landed it. My buddy tried that a few weeks ago and his altimeter got ripped off his wrist, he's thankful his wrist didn't get caught like your foot. Really glad you survived this man.

    Blue skies!

  • I didn't need another reason to not do a Mr.Bill, but thanks...

  • The socks saved you! Superman does it once again!

  • Brother that was some crazy shit. glad you both were good. If you didn't have a nickname I guess ChoppIt is what they call you now..

  • Wow that was an intense video.

  • That was awesome. Did you get it right the next time?

  • You both landed safely, you were both okay, you both had both of your shoes on.. It didn't go all wrong ;)

    blue skies

  • see ya dude.... goodluck with my garbage!!!

  • nice job working the problem without panicking!

  • hahahahaha.... shit happens... sometimes things don't work as planned...

luck you both are alive... cheers !!!

  • holy shit, yea that had to freak you out. Cool you got untangled, and landed safely, but damn that had to make ur mind race faster than you were falling. cool video

  • wow cool near death

  • shit scary

  • shittttt, james bond!!!!!!

  • @SW33TDR34M5 A Mr. Bill is where you go out and one of the people pulls while the other person holds on to him. So both end up under a parachute then the other person lets go to get that falling feeling. If done right they are fun if done wrong they can be deadly.

  • that looked painful...

  • Hahaha Very nice Super-man socks!!

  • Well, I thought it was handled reasonably well.

  • Thanks for convincing me to never, ever skydive!

  • LOL @ 0:53

  • Well well, we go skydiving to get a thrill. He got one.....

  • nice socks mate!

  • well played good sir

  • that was tooooo damn close O.o

  • im sure my life would of flashed before my eyes.

  • Nice work getting rid of that.... wow nice work.

  • iv seen so many of those mr. bill's end up near disaster stories, they are worth it for the added fun factor though

  • After doing quite a few Mr. Bills, I would have to say that went rather well!!!

  • Great argument for not using an RSL

  • why the hell didnt the student have any goggles on? How did no one notice this?

  • glad youre okay. by the looks of it the guy in the door was ascting as a static pull? my question is..."why the hell did you guys roll out instead of presenting correctly(the guy pulling facing the prop) into the wind?"

  • @jbrinkman86 Becuase then that woudnt lead to a malfuntion with an awesome cutaway. Just sayin :D

  • Love the socks!

  • Nice vid. You guys did good.

  • dam that looked like scary stuff mate! coool video tho, and good story for the pub;)

  • Damn dude, that was insane! Way to keep a cool head and solve the problem, nice job man... Awesome footage too :)

  • Should have kept hold of it and turned it into a tube jump :D

  • could have gotten nasty with an rsl. maybe not. nice work lad. broken ankle?

  • @MagicMalky I was thinkin the same thing bout the rsl

  • yikes. note to self when doing a mr bill....be the guy hanging on to save yourself the reserve repack fee!

  • @drinkfightandphuck Smart thinking :)

  • hmm, I wonder how this situation would have turned out if he chopped it with skyhook without disconnecting his RSL?

  • Were you saying DONT chop it at first. Then changed it to CHOP it? Thanks.. Glad your ok..

    Blue Skies!!!

  • Nice job mate!

  • nice socks! :p

    good job staying alive!

    have u tried again?

did u had a hook knife?

  • one leg longer now? ;-)

  • it has taken me a few mins to find out what a Mr.bill jump is but i think it goes liike this... two guys 1 guy hold on to the other rig they jump the other guy deploys and the 1st guy keeps holding on then lets go and freefalls right ?? do tell me if im wrong ??

  • @joshbanford you are right

  • HOLY CRAP!

Good save, glad you're both ok.

  • Hey guys, good heads up!, we did lots of bill dives at drop zones around Portland Oregon around 1991, I'm here to tell you it can get ugly, I had two dislocated knees, I have video of me hanging on for five secounds and not getting ripped off mybe some kind of record, lost feeling in my hands for a week.Cool! Bob Maddox D14653

  • Nice one. I was the first ever Brit to do a Mr Bill skydive, back in 1980, and the 16th person in the world!

  • Me and tony massey did it at cockerham in 1990, I hung on to him down to 3 grand and back flipped clear, mind you it was the 3rd try.

    GH D-9081

  • um that plan seemed like it was still flying why you jump out? it just doesn't seem like a good idea.....lol nice save

  • You were pretty lucky that you could get your foot our so easily!

    Good job!

  • What happened to the guy who was left with the canopy around him>?

    NIce save by yourself!

  • woaaah proper nuts that! stayed calm, good stuff

  • Chop it chop it chop iiiiitttaaAA! lol

  • I think you stayed pretty calm. good job philly dc.

  • Incredible footage! So, his pilot deployed during exit. I'm so glad you both came outta it alive and well.

    Blue Skies from California!

  • It was a Mr. Bill, he's supposed to deploy right out the door as the partner holds on. In this case the guy holding on got his foot caught in a line during the deployment sequence.
